He did look emotional walking into the convention.  I was wondering if this event would be life changing for him.  Could that raw emotion drag that deranged man back into reality?

I'm not very optimistic, but there may be a slight possibility this has humbled him, and he will tone down his rhetoric.

I also wish Joe would turn over his delegates. That story still needs to be cycled daily.  There is no way he can handle another term.  Bad times all around.

There already are legislative prohibitions on the mentally ill owning firearms. It was dad's gun however, and dad was allowed to own it. As for the kid, there's no proof of truly being a nutbag until the nutbag does the insane thing. Hindsight is 20/20.

If the husband was super anti-Biden, I can understand why she'd be leery of accepting the call. Might not even be a cult thing for her specifically, but more so out of respect for her late husband's wishes.

I don't know, if my wife was murdered by someone while at a Biden rally (while Trump was president) and then Trump called, I might have a hard time picking up that phone call out of respect for her. Let's try putting ourselves in her situation.

All kidding aside, I still think it's a case of a kid looking to lash out and hurt others who hurt him. But instead of hurting them directly, he tried to kill someone they all loved? Who really knows, sometimes people just snap and act in bizarre ways that nobody can ever truly understand.
