I'm really disturbed that multiple people here wanted to see him get assassinated. It's one thing to hate him, but another entirely to want to see him get shot in the head in front of the entire count

She was born premature and spent a month in the NICU. She was only 4lbs when she was born! She has OT and PT for low tone. She is doing incredibly and I’m truly amazed by her every. single. day. Tiny

So the kid on the bldg. was just a patsy, set up by Iran to take the fall. The first rule of assassination, is eliminate the assassin. The real shooter is on the run. LOL.

Yikes. If this is what increased security looks like, we have pretty big issues.

Also, how Fing stupid is Iran? That would be an act of war and absolutely require the US to go into gloves off retaliation mode.

Not to mention, they’d then have the GOP picking a new candidate which would likely be Nikki Haley, who would like John McCain look like a dove.

Iran has repeatedly vowed revenge for the US military’s killing of Qasem Soleimani, the commander of the Iranian military’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in January 2020. And former senior Trump administration officials who worked on national security have had tight security since leaving the government.

In August 2022, the Justice Department announced criminal charges against a member of the IRGC for allegedly trying to orchestrate the assassination of John Bolton, who served as Trump’s national security adviser. US prosecutors said the plot against Bolton was "likely in retaliation” for Soleimani’s assassination.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was also a target of the Iranian assassination plot, according to a federal law enforcement source familiar with the investigation and a source close to Pompeo.

Trump’s former national security adviser, Robert O’Brien, had a US government security detail due to threats from Iran, like Pompeo and other former Trump officials, but that detail was dropped last summer, according to sources familiar with the matter. O’Brien is now paying for his own private security detail, sources said. Lawmakers were not given a specific reason for the decision, which led to frustration. O’Brien did not respond to a request for comment.

Bolton still has his Secret Service detail.

For months, law enforcement officials have been concerned about the persistent threat of Iran potentially attempting to assassinate former Trump officials and the former president himself, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. But the recent intelligence suggested a significant uptick in the threat, the sources told CNN.

Warnings about that operational planning have coincided with a noticeable surge of online messaging from Iranian accounts and state-backed media mentioning Trump, which has raised security concerns among US officials, one of the sources told CNN.

There’s no indication that Thomas Matthew Crooks, the would-be assassin who attempted to kill the former president on Saturday, was connected to the plot, the sources said.

Of course the sources would say that. Cover up in full swing. LOL.

crooks could've sat in the front row then.

Do we know where all of those other rounds went? He got off 6-8 shots and the stands were packed with people behind Trump who did not get down

My guess is into the ground behind and to the left of the stage. I imagine they've already recovered all the rounds and casings by now.

That's what I've been asking since yesterday.  We need a full accounting of where each round went, and how much (if any) of Trump's ear is missing.

In no way is this excusing the lapse in security measures, but this rally was in Butler PA and hour north of Pittsburgh and if you've ever been, it's remote and it's in a very red area of PA.

Just saying, maybe that's why it was a little relaxed.

So wait... registered Republican,MAGA signs, personal recollection of him being ultra conservative, and I'm still seeing someone in this thread blaming Democrats?

I love this place.

Obviously anyone who has ever donated to a liberal PAC or politician is a hardcore democrat for life. Now that we've established all that, when should we tell our 90th percentile IQ friend who Trump has donated to in the past?

I still don’t think it’s clear. The signs were his parents although reportedly his mom is registered as a Democrat and his dad a Libertarian. I think it’s odd for an ultra conservative to donate to a liberal PAC. Regardless of his beliefs I don’t think republicans OR democrats are to blame for his decision to climb onto a roof and try to blow away politician so the finger pointing from both camps is annoying.

Guys we've been over this look at the stupid haircut

He's 100% a Libertarian

One thing I haven't seen mentioned yet is where that overhead photo was taken from?

looks like joe dirt and brandy finally had a kid.

Iranian spies planning an assassination for years and then watching a crazy dweeb get a bunch of shots at Trump by climbing on a roof right next to him in broad daylight

I'm admittedly not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but how does a bullet fired from point A to B, as shown here, strike Trump's right ear but not his head or disturb his hat?

Perhaps the angle is more exaggerated than shown in the 2D image but I think it needs to be studied, as well as where the person killed was seated.

Are republicans pushing for more money towards healthcare and mental health?

Didn't they say there were 1-2 others that were hit but not killed?
