There had to be something beyond just talent alone as to why he didn't work out long term in Philly.

It was the right move to cut him when they did. Also Avonte had a few years run early on in his career where he was a borderline elite slot corner before injuries started to pile up.

I don't think we missed out on some big timeplayer by not keeping him or adjusting our scheme to fit his skill set.

Makes some big plays but also gets burnt at times.

July 23Jul 23 @time2rock oh, I haven't seen them like that. Maybe make sure your browser is updated, see if it looks different on mobile vs desktop, different browsers? Or clear cache?but sometimes embedded stuff is wonky on here.

Once in a blue moon it stays as the former look and I usually assume the original tweet was deleted or something.
