How does Flyers management consistently find the worst coaches for their team?

Flyers have been outshot 158 to 76 in their first 4 games.

Positive is if they and the maple queefs both just suck this year it gives us a much better shot at finally getting a young future 1C

Problem is coaching. I could see the merits of Torts. He's had success in the league before, and he is more defensively minded. Was never going to win a cup here, but would have given the youngsters a solid base to build off of. You go from him to an offensive minded guy, not Taco.

I really hope his hiring was Keith Jones and not Briere, but anyone involved in his hiring needs to go.

They never should have given him that contract. Absolute dumb. They should have traded him at the trade deadline and got some assets but dope Briere felt the need for some reason to reward him with an overpay. To top it off, he disappears in the playoffs as we saw last year.

I kinda look at it at this point, he’s 30 years old. He’s got a bunch of years left. What are you gonna win with him in his prime? Probably nothing in the next 2 to 4 years. So would you rather just trade them for what his value is right now and potentially try to get a young center or just have him there for the length of the deal?. The team that has been mentioned is the Utah Mammoth. They actually have a kid that the Flyers were super interested in as a center desnoyers. he actually plays on the AHL team. That’s where I live in Arizona. So I’ve seen him. He’s good. I don’t think he’s like a number one center. But he could be a number two.
