I can’t believe they’re playing so Fing poorly that I’m agreeing with mike Fing Milbury.

FFS they’re playing like you need a GD astrophysics degree to win at hockey.

Hart saved our bacon on that one

HART!

Definitely happy for the win.  Definitely concerned about the inability to enter/exit the zones cleanly and overall offense.

Thank the lord.

Hell yes

Quality shutout

Three stars for the game

Rest of the team should buy Hart a car after this game.  Great game by the kid.  However, we can't keep winning games like that.  Need to play better in front of him.

They played like absolute dogsheet and Hart just stole this one for us.

Right now I’m half tempted to row a boat into Toronto to give Therrien a piece of my mind.

FFS ugly a** pp.

Yup that’s been my issue with them over the past couple games In exiting their defensive zone. We can not cleanly get the puck out cleanly and we turn it over a lot. We need to be better. The offense is somewhat on us not doing well on power play and some is price.

The PP is really bad...  Hart with a great bounceback game.

I don't have my excel spreadsheet file open in front of me but it's big when you're tied 1-1 in a series to win game 3, rather than going down 1-2.

Shocker.

Sometimes you have to do what you have to do and a bit more to win.  They just didn't win ugly tonight, they won fugly.  They have so much to work on if they want to advance.  Being better at getting the puck out of their own end.  Stop turning it over in the middle of the ice with these stupid cross ice passes that are practically blind passes.  Get rid of the umbrella and sling shot entry on the PP and just work in keeping it simple, getting bodies in front of Price and getting pucks towards the net and hoping a screened shot works or you have 2 players there to jump on a rebound.

Superb performance by Hart after being pulled last game.

Hart and the defense came through. Hart stole us one. Can't keep playing like this to expect to make a deep push. Pathetic performance on the offensive push. Need to find a way to get it going. Changes need to be made on the power play. Its pathetic

They are playing a hot team that had a legit playoff series before this. No excuse if they don't start picking it up soon though.

Habs have all the confidence after this game. They are playing better. They will come out game 3 full force . we have to have an answer

They did not play better tonight, we'll have to see the stats later but in terms of high danger chances there weren't many that they generated on their own. It seemed like the flyers were getting out of the zone without issues way more often than last game and the Canadiens weren't recovering pucks they dumped in nearly as often. I wouldn't be surprised if this game was almost even possession wise but in terms of expected goals I think the flyers had the edge

And the goal posts.

They are lucky not to be down 2-1 in this series.  Flyers have not played well except for maybe the 1st period in game 1.  I don’t count the round robin games as "playoffs”.  That’s BS.  Not sure why NBC keeps referring to them in that way.  Flyers need to be a lot better.  Pretty disappointing.  But a win is a win.  It was an uninspiring effort.  I would switch lines around.  And I definitely would make some tweaks to the PP.  Park Hayes down low (like Simmonds) simplify their approach and try to get some slop goals.  Get in Price’s kitchen.      Too many cute passes.  Which is a Giroux staple and now the rest of the PP follows suit.

Was laughing at the post comments. Cause it’s true.

agree with you on the rest. I don’t think they really played great besides the first period of game one. since the third Of the Tampa game its been really concerning. They have way too many turnovers in their own defensive zone. They have trouble just keeping the puck and moving it. And they keep trying these long passes in the center of the ice they keep getting picked off and haven’t adjusted.

We have one goal over our last 7 periods of hockey. Price isn’t working to stop it. I feel like a lot of the Flyers Chances he is seeing the puck to well and able to watch it come in. Need more traffic in front of him and some nastiness to get him off his game. and we’ve had a ton of power plays. That had to change. We need our big guns to play like it. Currently they are mostly No shows. Our PP needs to get going. 1-25 is Ridiculous.

A win is a win. Up 2-1.

To be honest watching all the series in the Eastern conference the team Playing it’s best right now might be the Islanders. It’s been impressive seeing what they are doing to Washington. I thought they’d win that series but I thought it would go at least six or seven. They might clean sweep

That's a series that playing bubble is disadvantage for the flyers. Cause those would have been all home games with fans traveling up.

Yeah that’s true.  And frankly we could use the home ice advantage in that series. We are 0-3-0 against he islanders this year. Although all those games were before we got rolling

the 24 blocked shots is key. The shots on goal could have been much higher if not for that being over double what the Habs had. Add on the habs hit some posts which greatly benefited us tonight.
