It’s good the Flyers are getting some balanced scoring, but they’re letting the Islanders get into the offensive zone way too easily.  Still seems like the Isles D is able to clear the zone much easier than the Flyers can.

Alright, lead going into first intermission. I’ll take it, but they need to clean things up next period. Really didn’t get much push late in the period. 

Would be great if they stopped taking so many Fing penalties. 4 the other night, 2 already tonight. 

On that first goal by Hayes, that initial pass by Konecny was sick.  That's how we expect Travis to play.  Those hands.

I'm glad they kept him on this line.  If he's heating up and about to start scoring, Hayes will give him the opportunities.

I thought Voracek had a pretty decent period. Couple crafty moves to create a couple chances. Feels like he’s got a goal in him tonight.

I mean, that's the strength of the Isles.  They may one of the best neutral ice defensive teams in the league.  So of course it's going to be tough to clear and get down the other end.  I agree we need to do better on our end, but you've identified the Isles main strength.

It was kind of out of frame so hard to tell what happened, but it looked to me like one of our guys got held and dragged to the ice no less than 30 seconds before the slashing penalty.

G's pass to Voracek was great as well.  If they can light the lamp tonight, making it two in a row, we could see some momentum growing from that top line.

Our defensemen need to stop the blind passes from deep in our corners.
