February 12, 20214 yr Tried Russell's Reserve 10 year. Very disappointed. Texture feels watered down, vanilla so strong tastes like a liqueur, doesn't have much of a flavor profile. Do not recommend.
February 21, 20214 yr Opened the Peerless rye. Its different. Less spice than a typical tye hunting was good today got an EC barrel proof and a WT rare breed rye

HOOOOOLY COW thats a big boy whiskey. barrel proof and tons of depth. lots of spice and even a nutty flavor (insert joke here) that is more commonly found in Beam products gotta try it with a cube and see how it opens up next time but damn thats good and a heavy hitter
