toolg Posted October 23 Posted October 23 I have 3 options at Flex this week: Tank Dell - Should be a good start while Nico Collins is out. But CJ Stroud threw a dud last week and Dell dropped some end zone passes, putting up a big goose-egg. Colts secondary should be friendlier this week. Jauan Jennings - Returns this week from injury. Just in time as Aiyuk is out for the season and the 49ers desperately need pass catchers. Romeo Doubs - Has suddenly become the hot hand in the Packers offense. Against the porous Jags defense this week. What's not to like? Who would you start this week?
toolg Posted October 23 Author Posted October 23 I am starting Justin Jefferson at WR on Thursday. And McLaurin on Sunday. But Mariota could be under center against the Bears. So it is possible I can start two of these guys over McLaurin.

I personally would do Jennings and Dell. I still don't know what happened to Stroud last Sunday. Speaking of Stroud, this was my matchup in my money league where QBs regularly get between 30-50 points: WTF (and I still managed to put up the 3rd highest score somehow) 1
toolg Posted October 25 Author Posted October 25 Jennings is looking doubtful to play this week. Tank Dell seems like a good play. He can't go 0 points two weeks in a row, right? That leaves me with scary Terry or Doubs? 1

paco Posted October 27 Posted October 27 @toolg @Mat Since Etienne is unlikely to play... Bigsby & Tanke Dell (or DJ Moore\Brian Thomas\Smith-NJigba) or Kenneth walker and Doubs (or Mooney, Lockett, Pittman JR
toolg Posted October 27 Author Posted October 27 Jacksonville has to keep the score close, or else they will take Bigsby out in passing situations. I am really trying to talk myself into Doubs this week. So I go Walker-Doubs, realizing it’s a much bigger boom-bust potential. 1
Mat Posted October 27 Posted October 27 The worry with Bigsby is the Jags getting blown out. Walker has a great matchup and a high floor since he sees the receptions out of that backfield. I prefer Mooney over Doubs for the WR option. The Packers WR's are too hot and cold. Reed was the high floor option and put up a clunker last week. Bucs may not have the fire power to turn it into a shoot out but I think Mooney gets his targets in that game. 2
toolg Posted October 29 Author Posted October 29 Stefon Diggs is out for the season. Tank Dell should be tearing up the charts. Now I am suddenly loaded at WR: Justin Jefferson vs. Colts (SNF) Puka Nacua @ Seahawks Terry McLaurin @Giants Tank Dell @Jets (Thursday) Romeo Doubs vs. Lions I can start 2 WRs + 1 Flex. Who starts and who sits?
Mat Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Puka is in doubt now with a knee injury he picked up in practice. If he plays, he is probably one I start with JJ and I would have said McLaurin over Dell.
toolg Posted November 4 Author Posted November 4 I sat Tank Dell on Thursday, thinking I could use Doubs in the late start for Nacua in an emergency. So I went with Puka, who got promptly tossed for throwing a punch. 1
toolg Posted November 7 Author Posted November 7 A new guy re-enters the mix this week: Justin Jefferson @Jags Terry McLaurin vs. Steelers Nacua vs. Dolphins (MNF) Tank Dell vs. Lions (SNF) Romeo Doubs BYE Jauan Jennings @Bucs EDIT: I need to start 3. Even though Nico Collins may return, I still like Tank Dell in the lineup. It feels like a potential high scoring game. Where the Dolphins secondary is tough. And I am still put off by Nacua's nagging knee injury and ejection last week. Does Jauan Jennings deserve consideration in this lineup?

ESPN has given him a projected score and they were saying last week he should return this week Jefferson, Puka and Jennings would be the three I start out of those options.

toolg Posted November 11 Author Posted November 11 So I went with the early game WRs: Jefferson, McLaurin, and Jennings. I liked Jennings in his situation against Tampa, and he didn’t disappoint. Surprisingly Jefferson was the dud in a low scoring game. So I avoid Nacua tonight. Miami’s secondary is no joke. And I avoided Houston’s Sunday night shenanigans: Tank Dell went into Sunday night Questionable with a back injury. But Nico Collins didn’t play so Dell was the top option. Dell was still disappointing. Nonetheless I am up 31 against Cooper Kupp tonight. Rooting for Miami Defense.
toolg Posted November 20 Author Posted November 20 Going in to Week #12 my WR situation is: Starting Justin Jefferson (still #1 lock despite recent disappointment) and Puka Nacua. I need one Flex out of: Terry McLaurin, Tank Dell, Jauan Jennings, and Jameson Williams. McLaurin was shut out last week by Quinyon Mitchell and the Eagles. One week aberration? Or has the Commanders magic run out? I worry Jayden Daniels is banged up and the offense lost a step. Jauan Jennings has carved out a role replacing Aiyuk in the 49ers offense. He's been good two weeks in a row. Lock him in, or am I just chasing points? Tank Dell and Jameson Williams are really boom/bust. Do I dare bench Nacua vs. Eagles secondary? Who breaks out Week #12, and who disappoints? I always pick the wrong guy.
toolg Posted November 25 Author Posted November 25 Nacua got his. McLaurin saved his day with a long catch and run at the end of the game. It was Justin Jefferson who disappointed again. Jennings stats were down with Purdy sitting out. Tank Dell and Jameson Williams didn't break out. But any of them would have been better than Jefferson. Do I dare bench Jefferson? Or is it just a run of bad luck?
toolg Posted November 26 Author Posted November 26 I need 2 WR + 1 Flex out of: Nacua, Jefferson, McLaurin, Jennings, Dell, Jameson Williams, and (a new Flex candidate this week and it's kind of a shocker) Rico Dowdle Nacua is going to start. Jefferson should be a sure thing but he hasn't shown it lately. Can I bench him? I am thinking Jennings over McLaurin. Tank Dell and Jameson Williams are too boom/bust to be trusted. I am wondering if Dowdle has a spot in the lineup? I am liking his situation; the lead RB going against the Giants at home on Thanksgiving. Starting RBs Mixon and Cook.
