You should have said that from the beginning instead of trying to pretend China is the one suffering the most right now.

I could have worded it better. Their exports dropped something like 40% Q2 vs 7% with us if I remember correctly.

Cool. That's not to be conflated with the cold hard fact that every red cent collected from tariffs comes from US companies and consumers. Every red cent. And Trump straight up lies about that fact every single day.

If the importer passes it along and if people buy imports vs domestic. If importers want to risk losing our market share.

Some. Not all.

I went to buy a spitting axe from a Scandinavian company last week and they tried to add it on to the bill. I bought an American one. Oh well. There are benefits even when it happens

Don't remember where I heard of it but I recall a story of someone needing a product and tariffs made it super expensive and there is no American alternative

trump created this problem but maga will blame Biden for poor deals. BTW it hasn't been reported in awhile because of everything else that overtook the news... trump didn't really make actual deals with all of those nations he said he did. Bunch of them said nothing materialized

Sure it does. You all are in a mentally ill TDS camp. Not all tariffs are passed on. I love them being enacted and I think they will work. That's it.

It made no sense, you should really get away from using canned responses hahahahahaha.

I was so excited to buy a product other than the one I really wanted!

It was the principle of it. They make good cutting tools in that area of the world but that particular company added on the export fees to the splitting axe while another manufacturer I buy puukko knives from hasn't. So I bought American and honestly it worked fine the other day.

Using that example if the price of knives does go up I'm buying from an American one like ESEE.

Trump isn't giving handouts like the Democrats did. This farmer aid comes from tariffs we're putting on China to make them pay for cheating us, and it'll help our farmers stay afloat while we push for better trade deals. Supporting Argentina's Milei keeps China from taking over their soy market, which helps our farmers by keeping prices stable. It's a smart move to protect our farms and put America first, not the weak trade policies we had under Biden. Not as much fun but there ya go.

oh brother.....

"This farmer aid comes from tariffs we're putting on China"

We are not putting tariffs "on China". We are putting tariffs on products FROM China. The tariffs are then paid by the AMERICAN company importing the product into the US. So yeah, it's a handout to farmers, who are being negatively impacted thanks to Trump's own policies, and the handout is being paid for by tax revenue collected from American companies.

LOLOLOL yeah what an "America first" move to implement policies that harm our own agricultural industry so bad we have to bail out farmers, and then go give $20 billion to a foreign country while we tell our troops and the entire federal civilian workforce to go without pay for a while because the government is shut down.

BRAIN. WASHED.

The funny thing is that this isn't even the original. It's a sequel. They both sucked.

Education Department employees surprised to find their em...

Five furloughed employees told NBC News they had put up nonpartisan out-of-office messages, only to see they were changed — without their permission — to partisan ones.

The altered email messages included language saying: "Thank you for contacting me. On September 10, 2025, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 5371, a clean continuing resolution. Unfortunately, Democrat Senators are blocking passage of H.R. 5371 in the Senate which has led to a lapse in appropriations. Due to the lapse of appropriations, I am currently in furlough status. I will respond to emails once government functions resume.”

One of the employees said they were not overly worried about getting hit with a Hatch Act violation, saying the department has crossed into a level of partisanship they’d never seen without anyone being held accountable. In this case, the employee was incensed that someone else’s message was connected to their name.

"Nobody follows the law anymore, so why does it matter? It seems like laws are dotted lines now, not solid lines. It seems there’s no one to hold this administration accountable to laws,” one of the employees said. As far as fearing any repercussions, they said: "Clearly, this wasn’t done by me, it was done while I was in a furlough status, I think I’d be able to argue that point.”

They're such F-ers. These are the same dipshits telling us to tone down the partisan rhetoric 2 weeks ago.

Fox Hosts Creepily Speculate About Whether Barron Trump, 19, Had Sex on His Date

Watters, 47, recounted previously reported tabloid gossip about the 19-year-old. "He’s a ladies’ man… tall and handsome,” Watters said, before saying that Barron had "shut the whole floor down at Trump Tower just so he could be alone.”

Banderas, 52, chimed in that, "man, this guy’s got game,” adding, "I hope something good came outta that date… I’m not gonna say what... not dessert.”

Online reaction to the bizarre exchange between the two anchors was scathing.

OUTOFTHEFOXHOLE wrote: "Do Christians watch this stuff and cheer it on? Does Jesus watch Fox?”

NW Sports Bettor replied: "Jesse Watters is involved. Shocker. He is the creepiest MFer on TV.”

Literally every line in this post is incorrect.

He's not wrong...

"Yeah, if you’re going to criticize Mamdani for wanting to own the grocery stores, you have to be equal parts critic to any Republican who wants a share of Nvidia, a share of Intel, or a share of U.S. Steel. It’s a bad idea. It’s a slippery slope. And really, it is heading in the direction of what socialism is, which would be owning all of the means of production. If you only own a percentage of the means of production, it still is a step in the wrong direction,” Paul replied.

"Then what do you think about this new partnership that we just heard about today with Pfizer? It’s going to be known as TrumpRx. Our U.S. government is going to sell Pfizer drugs on a website named after Donald John Trump,”
