I get it but I don’t care. The only way Id concede is if we were defending our own shores, or attacked as Japan did. Even then it would have to be with zero BS deterrents for anything other than debilitating illnesses, but I’m sure the rich will find a way out. If it’s that big, everyone needs to fight. I don’t have to worry now, but I’m anti war enough that I’d dodge any draft that involved fighting over seas. It’s not as much about draftees being bad soldiers, it’s about forced conscription to fight needless wars, Korea, VN, DS, OEF/OIF, LA, Portland…..

I’m not sure that I would call Korea, Desert Storm, or OEF needless wars. (OEF ran incompetently as F yeah, but it wasn’t needless).

All three of those were fought with a pretty broad coalition.
