Friday at 06:23 PM1 day I'm so tired of hearing about extending these emergency Obamacare subsidies. They were passed as emergency help during COVID, and COVID's over. We never pull back any of these supposedly "temporary" handouts. GOP should just let them expire and move on.
Friday at 06:39 PM1 day Why would Trump care what the Constitution says when he has his own morality to fall back on?

Friday at 08:07 PM1 day I've paid some awful high insurance costs over my lifetime, but this year is the worst, so I opted out and will self-pay and pray nothing goes wrong. Most every plan I've looked at is so absurd it's basically you're paying for a catastrophic plan.

But the honest answer is either (i) make medical care a universal right with government provided care (which I don't support) or (ii) allow it to be a for profit industry with free market principles where care is rationed by price. It's these Frankenstein half measures where we try and manipulate the market that leads to the worst outcomes (healthcare, college, home ownership, etc.). You can't be a little bit pregnant.

I was getting enough business that I could easily quit my job and just work for myself full time and make significantly more money. The health care costs would have eaten into my profit margin so greatly, it just didn't make sense.

All of this is insane, like all of his posts, but I particularly like the part where he claims that states must do what the Federal Government/POTUS says on elections, when the Constitution explicitly left elections to the states. This is all so tiresome. Why do we have an insane, dementia patient in charge of the executive branch?Hey Vikas, I'm sure you know this already but just to confirm we have mail in voting here in the UK so not sure what he's on about there.(Am fairly certain plenty of other countries use it too but I can only speak for my own )
Friday at 11:55 PM1 day The EU’s increasingly unpopular, globalist political class is crashing out after President Donald Trump ordered the US to withdraw from a wide array of international organizations tied to climate policy, gender ideology, and what his administration has labeled "woke global governance.”The decision has triggered an unusually emotional response from EU leaders who appear to view American disengagement as an existential threat to their failed globalist project.
