Shouldn't be a problem. Most of my college friends retired a bit early and are 60-63 years old. All of them do all the things you list above. Several are doing triathlons or running marathons on top of all the hiking stuff. One guy is running ultra marathons. He is 61.

Awesome. To each their own is the point. I'm luckier than I deserve to be, and I'm not the one who brought it up past saying I'm not getting a check when asked what I'd do with it. Who I feel bad for are the people not as fortunate who've been let go, but it's funny the people complaining about their stock value are trying to burn me on a message board for enjoying what I have.
