Please tell me exactly what part of this article was so objectionable as you initially claimed? Those are words I never said. Allow me to explain what I did say: When I read the tweet, without all the information, I made a presumption that was not accurate. I assumed the DoD had a DEI themed area on their site and that was omitted per Trump's DEI mandate. I was assuming that a DEI themed subsection of the DoD site had been taken down and that had included whatever it was that the author of the tweet was referencing. Reread my tweets and you'll see what I was saying. There's no point in doubling down since I made an incorrect assumption. I never stated Robinson was some kind of DEI hire like many of you kept claiming. That was an incorrect assumption on your part. I honestly didn't understand why he would have been in a DEI "themed" subsection in the first place since he existed before DEI and was, if anything, an example of meritocracy. He deserved to be a baseball player in whatever they called the MLB in those days. Let me reiterate --- I didn't know what exactly was removed and assumed (wrongly) it was DEI content that somehow included something about Jackie Robinson or had him lumped into it in some way. Somebody did take down the article I posted and made it available again later yesterday. I do not find it objectionable, nor does it have anything to do with DEI. It appears somebody in charge of the website temporarily marked it as DEI and upon further review, it was restored because it is not a DEI piece. I will gladly argue against DEI as I don't believe in it, but I was incorrect to assume what I assumed about content I had not seen because of my eagerness to do so.

So first it was the measles outbreak in Texas was spread among illegal immigrants instead of the Amish and now this. Funny how those incorrect assumptions of yours always seem to be aligned in one particular direction. You'd think that would give one pause to reevaluate whether their sources of information might be misleading them, but I guess you'll just keep batting below the Mendoza line for the foreseeable future.

Most people appreciate when someone acknowledges a mistake. I like how you prefer to follow it up with another shot at me. Even though, you yourself incorrectly assumed you knew what I was saying, you're just going to pretend you were always right. It's unfortunate ... but whatever ...

What's unfortunate is that you'll never change, you'll always be content to be mislead. We've gone through this over and over in here, you're basically no different from diehard. The fact that you even imagined a scenario where a "DEI themed section" (whatever the F that means) existed on the DoD website, and included Jackie Robinson of all people, was rightfully purged is ridiculous. Literally deserving of ridicule, dude. Like, in what possible way was mentioning his service in the military even remotely related to "DEI propaganda"? Do you ever stop and listen to yourself?

No we called you a POS because only a POS would actually say this "Or maybe it's because DEI is no longer being pushed and that's the only reason that information appeared on the site in the first place" about Jackie Robinson's service in the Army.

Imho, you made the same kind of mistake that millions in MAGA and all of DOGE are making repeatedly. You're simply swinging the big sledge hammer because Trump/MAGA told you to and without bothering to even spend 30 seconds to look underneath the headline. Are you interested in learning and thus improving or are you going to continue to stand behind the sledge hammer approach and get things wrong time and again (obviously not caring who or what you damage in the meantime)? I think the answer to that question is the more interesting item in this discussion.
March 21Mar 21 MAGAs step on the misinformation rake every day and ask for more. They want to believe the soothing lies.
