Waltz and Hegseth should resign, at a minimum. Waltz for setting up the chat and including a reporter, and Hegseth for putting the attack plans in there.

Frankly, everyone in that chat should be investigated and potentially fired.

Just in case it wasn't clear for someone... the Signal leak is WAY, WAY worse than anything Hillary was accused of.

This is absolutely insane.

What a clown show this has become in such a short time. People are going to be exhausted sooner than later, which is probably part of the plan. I wonder what type of deflection will be next to overplay this national security blunder. No ally in their right mind will share anything with this administration. Some people could care less about allies, but once you’re fighting alone against everyone, you may regret screwING over your friends.

There's always a tweet

Going to be VERY interesting to see how the WH plays this one.

Every single media outlet I turn to has the Signal story as the top headline except Fox which doesn't have it anywhere at all.

I called that one.

They had it on. Saw it a while back. They reported it.

What's sad is this likely isn't the first time they've used the app to discuss sensitive information

They handle national security like the boss does. They’re just falling in line…

As I posted earlier that doesn't work for me so must be some sort of geo filter on my IP address being outside the US.

State Dept says "no comment, contact the White House"

It wasn’t that long and I’ve not seen it again. Two Fox hosts/reporters discussed it.

Hegeseth is total clown and should be terminated or resign in disgrace. This whole administration is incompetent and total failure.

It's hard to believe it's only been two months. Yikes.

Dude what are you talking about there's no mystery about how Trump handles a crisis...

Step 1 - "I don't know them or know anything about what they said."

Step 2 - "MSDNC is fake news."

Step 3 - Say or do something else that is equally or more insane and we'll all have moved on in a week.

Dude, It was a funny video of an SNL skit. The fact anyone cares that it's from 8 years ago shows how uptight and deranged you all are.

you're mentally crippled.

It's not "leaking" to share text messages you received. There is nothing illegal here. Had he released them prior to the military action, then he could have faced consequences under National Security statutes. But he didn't.

The people who put him in that chat should face legal consequences, but they won't. In any other administration, this would be a massive scandal resulting in multiple resignations. In this administration, it's a normal Monday.

This is true. But that doesn't mean that the administration won't try to go after him.

Then blame "activist judges" when he's told about the 1st amendment.
