TDS runs wild on this site. Really the worse I've seen

It would be expected on a site populated by people with ties to Philly.  Still, what you're seeing is those that bark the loudest, and they aren't necessarily an accurate reflection of most of the members of the EMB

Honestly the more I think about this the more I think that this is performative for one person only.

Quote

"I can tell you for 100% I don't know this guy. I know him by his horrible reputation, and he really is the bottom scum of journalists. And I know him in the sense that he hates the president, but I don't text him. He wasn't on my phone. And we're going to figure out how this happened," Waltz said, after making similar comments about Goldberg earlier Tuesday.

"I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but of all the people out there. Somehow this guy – who has lied about the president, who has lied to Gold Star families, lied to their attorneys and gone to Russia hoax, gone to just all kinds of lengths to lie and smear the president of the United States – and he's the one that somehow gets on somebody's contact and then gets sucked into this group."

Here we go.  Waltz starting to float the idea of Goldberg maliciously acting in order to get into the group chat.  Throwing up that test balloon.  Always blame the messenger.

My bet is they end up firing a staff member as a scapegoat and then continue to downplay the real story here which is the blatant and reckless mishandling of confidential information.

Waltz is pathetic in this interview.  So many spinning lies.  He's in full survivor mode.

He's spent the last two days saying he has "never spoken with or met Goldberg" yet when Ingram asks him point blank all he can say is "no idea".

It’s just mind boggling to me that such an obvious screw up is being defended by the MAGA cult in the way it is. Seeing how Fox News is blowing this off and blaming the "scumbag” journalist just speaks volumes. Idk how this country can undo this total divide. You can watch multiple news channels and be on separate planets each time. How is this whole debacle even defendable? No matter how you cut it, the journalist got into the chat group. It shouldn’t even matter how. And now he’s blamed for getting into the group?

You just can’t make this sh.t up…

Politics and the path of this divided country is on an uncontrollable downward trajectory.

Eagles football can’t get here fast enough 😅

Yes, and yet that isn't even the most crucial issue.  They simply shouldn't have been discussing the Houthi situation on Signal in the first place.

Agreed. They can spin it any way they want, it was a total collapse of OPSEC protocol and there is really no excuse for it. And for sure Hegseth sent those plans and now they want to make these operational plans not top secret?! If this were done during the Cold War era, all these people would’ve been fired and probably prosecuted.

We've got multiple trial balloons out there.

Some staffer on Waltz's staff as a sacrificial lamb.

Blame it on the libs and see if their stupid base buys it.

As always just the "deny deny deny" and flood the zone with s***.

His rubes like Procuck are already eager to lap up whatever excuse they can dream up.

I expected no other reaction.

It's a cult.

I think that it could have been a staffer who did it on purpose to expose the fact that they were using "unsecured” lines to communicate classified information.

The sacrificial lamb goes on tv and lies.. So pathetic but typical. Fox is the lying network after all. I'm glad Trump is furious. I hope Dems ramp up the pressure even more.

Blue wave.🌊

The last time a Dem was elected to the seat was 136 years ago. That has to be alarming for Maga.

Well, the attack plans on the chat have been released by Goldberg from Atlantic. Idk know, but those texts from Hegseth sure look like attack plans to me. I think people are more secretive when they play the board game Risk…

Who can defend this crapshow!🤬

He is the Chief judge in the district so you’d expect him to get a case of this importance.
