Trump's a master at, and gets a lot of milage from, battling the press. His cabinet members, who also stand to potentially benefit from this dynamic, just aren't as good at it. If they invited Goldberg on, and didn't mean to, then it was a screw up. Say that and move on. Yes, to people who pay attention, Goldberg is a hack, but these cabinet members aren't going to make that case to the masses.

One apparent benefit of these outsiders as cabinet pics is that their unconventionality actually makes Trump look more stable and conventional by comparison.

Move on from having classified discussions on an unclassified device? That's not how it works, chief.

But he hires the best people!

Or so I've been told

What's funny is they could add this entire thing into the training that people have to go through on what not to do. They do that for old cases but the fact that this was so recent and public is hilarious

I thought buying a brown toilet would mean I'd have to clean it less.

Well I'm sure Trump will do something even more idiotic and horrible in the next day or two to make everyone forget this.

He does get a lot of mileage out of battling the press, after all.

I mean, that's quite a low bar but you go with it.

I love how he replaced "stupidity" with "unconventionality". Listen how much better it sounds when you fix it:

They continue to double down and say "no classified information".  Just now by Leavitt in a WH presser who says she has just spoken with Trump.  Even a large number of MAGTards know that is a blatant lie.

Of course, thereafter she goes directly into an attack on Goldberg and The Atlantic.  She uses the term "Signal hoax" and insinuate that it is all just fake news.

Please chip in here and help me out by defending the WH position so I can understand it

The Trump WH has basically just pointed at a goat, looked the country in the eye, and said that is a cat.

The Dems should beat the living sheet out of them on this one.

If the WH had any intelligence whatsoever, they would have just admitted the mistake, said it wouldn't happen again and been able to move on.  Instead they went full blown cover up attempting to discredit the author and denying that anything was wrong.  Just dumb but that is this WH in a nutshell.  Idiocracy.

I don't think they believe he released it

Committing perjury before Congress was a policy decision made by the convicted felon and sex predator.

The republicans in congress are just flunkies at this point. They should never have been confirmed.

It just keeps getting worse.

Sure. But "Trump is so amazing he appointed idiots who destroy the country with their incompetence and make him look so smart" is quite the glaze, even by zuker's standard.
