March 27Mar 27 So, I voted 3rd party in 2016 (Johnson) and 2020 (Jorgensen). Living in CA, I realize my vote doesn't matter at all, so I picked the candidate that most closely aligned with my principles. However, in 2024, I held my nose and voted for a Democrat for national office for the first time. My hope was she would win, and the margin in the popular vote would be enough that the GOP would finally reject the Orange Imbecile and return to being a conservative party. Didn't work out that way, obviously. But ending MAGA and getting back a sane GOP that I could support was worth the pain of voting for someone whose policies I vehemently reject.

We can trash them for being bad candidates, but it’s still a fact The deal with Hillary, Kamala and even Sleepy Joe is they are smart enough to have smart people around them. Not RFK heroin addict worm ate my brain, drunk Fox News host, woman that shot her dog etc. Actual qualified people to do the job

I’ve only voted twice for the presidency. Admittedly haven’t followed much US politics in the past, but that changed in 2016. Living overseas I never really thought that it was necessary for me to vote, especially for domestic affairs. I really disliked Clinton, but never would have thought Trump would win. I actually wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but that only lasted for a couple of weeks. After witnessing all the stuff in his first term, I thought it was my obligation to vote and help stop another term. So I voted in 20 & 24 with one W and one L. I could vote for both parties since I see myself as an independent, but I could never vote for a cult. I respect the Rinos and would not have any problem voting for people that are associated in that crowd.

Its your vote and everyone else's vote that thinks like you do. You, and those like you, are a big reason as to why we are in this mess. Obviously retarded MAGAturds are the bigger reason, but we considered them utterly lost souls.

But voting third party then saying "how did this clown get elected?!" is a bit silly ^This. Nobody is saying Mike's vote swung the election, but the fact he'd even ask how Trump won while justifying his own 3rd party vote because "I didn't like her policies" is what makes it a dumb question.

The problem is 2024 marked the official death of the GOP and its full transformation into the MAGA party. I just don't see how it can return to being a sane, competent, conservative party. So now voters like myself who are fiscally conservative and socially liberal (which is a large part of the electorate) have no one to support. I can't support the economic policies of the left, because I know they are abhorrent and destructive. And obviously I'm not going to support the party of authoritarian imbeciles. At this point, I'll just focus on making and spending as much money as I can. Thankfully, I don't have children, so I can just opt out.

Oh, I agree. The Dems are a complete failure when it comes to expressing their position in a way that the electorate can get behind them. I'll put the Dems just behind the MAGAturds in responsibility. BUT, the ones that said "eff it" in the end are the ones that are to blame because they were the one's that didn't let it happen in 2020, but this time gave up.
March 27Mar 27 It was last call at the bar. There were 2 hookups left available. One was a hilariously sloppy drunk 1/10 with the clap you banged 4 years ago. The other was a 3/10 who was boring AF, clap status unknown. Some people doubled down on their previous mistakes. Some went home and jerked off. Others tried to pick up other girls they knew wouldn't go with them. And because of them all to varying degrees, we've got discharge and a 1/10 in our beds totally sabotaging the future of NATO. ...ok in retrospect maybe not the best analogy.

March 27Mar 27 So much for the "independent" DOJ...as if we had any doubts this would be ignored. Once again, electing a complete imbecile was bad. Electing an imbecile with a massive inferiority complex and a narcissistic personality disorder means he had to hire even dumber cult members to important positions. Gonna be a close call if our Republic can survive this parade of idiots.

So it's the people who didn't vote for Kamala who are at fault, and not the democratic party who kept Biden on the ticket well after they knew he was cooked. Who then just "made" Kamala the candidate at the last minute. Who bypassed a primary process that should have happened to allow the voters the opportunity to select a candidate. The democratic party is to blame.
