If you're doing it in the "laughing at you" way way, I'll thank you to keep your snarky, passive-aggressive feelings to yourself. I get enough of this shite from my mother. And from the Nightman. Procus is wrong, you are funny. I want to change my vote.

It’s almost like capitalism works the best when you have lots of competition.

He left and change careers now here we are 20 something years later and He still will only buy ford cars. They don’t even make them here and haven’t in literally a quarter century but ‘Merica! my last 4 Honda/acuras were 90% made and assembled in Ohio. They run forever and are more American than almost anything on the road. orange koolaide is something

On one hand he thought unions were the greatest thing ever, but then when big box came in and drove out mom and pop, he would just say "well yeah, that’s business. It happens, get over it.” He had a great method of picking stocks. Once my grandmother got a $40k settlement in the late 80s from tripping down some rickety stairs. He noticed this company and suggested she invested in it, but she wanted new furniture and a new car so whatever. He didn’t care at all and shrugged his shoulders thirty years later when I ran the numbers and told him what the investment would have turned in to. The company was MSFT.

I can't remember which book, but in one of her non-fiction works Ayn Rand* had a chapter titled something like "Buy American is Un-American", basically explaining how antithetical the idea was to capitalism. Seems an almost obvious thing now. *[yes, yes, I know... before you people start with me - shut up. But if she’s talking about people’s own choice and/or push to get others to buy American, there’s nothing anti-capitalism about that. Different people put different values/weights on certain aspects when it comes to their consumer purchases. Some people put more weight on price, some put more on quality, some put more weight on where the product was made.
