These type of losses for Trump on a personal scale mean nothing IMO. Don’t think it will cause him much pain or loss of sleep either. Immigration and the way his administration is handling it is their way of pleasing his cult base, who want to see red meat. Illegal immigration is not just an American problem, it’s a problem the entire western industrial world is suffering from. Not easy to resolve, but the way the last administration dealt with it was definitely not good IMO. He’s got the much bigger prize in his sights and mind. Money and power galore with the thought of not relinquishing that anytime soon.

You don't need to tell me that given my situation in Sweden or what I see in the US. None the less, due process is a super important facility which really can never be compromised imho. A 9-0 ruling in SCOTUS pretty much gives evidence to the real issue of sending someone to a gulag with no due process, immigrant or not, and this guy was a legal immigrant and not convicted of any crime despite what Pam Bondi wants you to believe. He's weaponizing the DOJ and FBI and going after his political foes and the legal system. This case is just one cog in that machine.

He certainly needs more than his base to hold power, but if you’ve been watching closely, he’s putting all his loyalist sycophants in the most powerful positions of the government. He’s now able to weaponize any government agency to his liking and is doing exactly that. We are just witnessing the beginning of this and some of those people are more dangerous than he is. They will do anything to please the holy leader, which is the same thing that happened in the 1930s in Germany. Some of those crazy lunatics were even worse than the "Führer". No, I’m not saying he is Adolf H., but the scheme and scam is eerily similar…
April 11Apr 11 Quote The Trump administration-led justice department planned to send armed US marshals to deliver a letter warning a career pardon attorney about testifying to Congress after she says she was fired over a case involving the actor Mel Gibson, her lawyer said in a letter seen by Reuters on Monday. "This highly unusual step of directing armed law enforcement officers to the home of a former Department of Justice employee who has engaged in no misconduct, let alone criminal conduct, simply to deliver a letter, is both unprecedented and completely inappropriate,” Michael Bromwich, a lawyer representing the fired pardon attorney Liz Oyer, wrote to the justice department. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/apr/08/liz-oyer-mel-gibson-us-marshals Here she is testifying in Congress.

Note: She was fired about a month ago for refusing to add Mel Gibson to an official pardon without more information.

And that’s the danger of basically "egging” him on to newer idiotic destructive ideas. "Emperor Trumpatine, your unmatched wisdom, intellect and knowledge is leading the entire country and world to the golden age of prosperity. You should not only be the king of the US, but the king of the entire planet. Here you go sir, just sign this executive order and we will take care of the rest.”

April 11Apr 11 What do you guys mean "to hold power"? Trump is president until January 2029. Nothing is going to change that unless he dies.

If I say that now I’m talking about the House. The Judiciary is doing fine but there needs to be a guardrail in the Legislative branch as well.

You’re correct with nothing changing before that, but will he relinquish power with a peaceful transfer after his 2nd term?! With all the craziness, anything seems possible….
