JFC, what kind of effed up engineer are you to be this GD stupid. It’s a good thing WV is exempt from extreme weather.

Wow more tears for a weatherman crying because he actually has to do his job.

This won't actually cause any tornadoes or hurricanes, there's just less weather balloons. By all means, it's as good of a reason as any for a TDS meltdown and wishing death upon Americans.

TDSers are definitely unhinged lunatics

Do you seriously think you can strawmen your emotional argument to a Fing weatherman? Or make the claim that those of us that do not want to turn back toward a time when hurricanes and severe weather killed 10s of thousands of Americans, are the ones wishing them dead.

No sheet it won’t cause any more severe weather, but it will reduce our already challenged ability to predict severe weather. Do you really think computer models won’t be degraded with 17%, your number, less data? Weather balloons are the main source of data from the upper atmosphere, and are the only ways to measure and collect independent weather data from the same location and time. Another key piece of the pie that helps predict severe weather.

I missed what type of engineer you are. Could you remind me?

Absolute chaos today. Merchandise ordered 60 days ago for projects approved 90 days ago now have a 50% markup. 50k kash mo-nay to get 100k worth of shite of the docks. This is INSTANT MURDER for micro business, certain death for small business and the mid sizes will have layoffs galore.

Obviously all to the benefit of the gazillionaires who will buy the pieces at meltdown prices. Oh yeah, Trump knows exactly what he's doing. Burning the country, selling its goodwill to the highest bidder and crippling the rule of law to cover his trail.

Anecdotal, but I can concur. All our steel and aluminum quotes are coming in with 15%-50% markups for tariffs.

From the wholesale perspective I can tell you the foreign producers are eating at most 5% of the tariffs. Everything else is getting tacked on at the various levels locally. This latest round was especially cruel, the industry reorganizing itself from the 25%, announced on a friday and in effect on wednesday, this is nothing short of a GUNPOINT MUGGING by Donald J Trump to our hard working steel and aluminum industry, most of which is exactly the micro and small business Republicans once worshipped.

Quotes are worthless, price lists change drastically month to month. Buying in bulk is russian roulette. Who the F can run a business like this?

this is happening, i'm sure wv mike is good with it because, own the TDSers!!

Just got out of a meeting with the company, we will be eating about half of the new tariffs, basically going at break even, so our clients don't get completely wiped by this. Obviously this is not sustainable and is a strategy that counts on TACO by the end of the month.

It will be great for my son who works in an aluminum mill where the average worker makes somewhere around $100k/yr. Won’t be so good for the industries who use their aluminum.

WTF? I live in hurricane alley, we get like 10 warnings a year and the improved precision of forecasts thanks to those balloons doesn't just save lives it saves MONEY. finding out 2 days before if it's actually coming or not when just 2 decades ago we had no clue is actually a huge difference. For buying supplies, for rescheduling work or travel plans. September used to be a lost month economically, now thanks to better predictions it's as productive as any other.

This is just ANOTHER self inflicted kick in the nuts to our economy by the bankruptcy king.

How stupid can he be? Moron.
