July 9Jul 9 The amount of projected GWs of solar that were in the pipeline was massive. Now, with the incentives going away at least 50% of that will not be built. This at a time where our need for energy due to data centers and AI is increasing at a pace where even with those GWs it was going to be tough to keep up. And for those saying we need nuclear, I don't disagree, but it will take a decade to permit and build any new nuclear facility and likely half a decade or more for a new gas plant. As for coal......HA that ship has sailed. Coal is far to expensive to make any sense as a baseload technology.

I bet big oil bought trump coins though, so trump got paid.

And you’re blaming the government?Yes, I am blaming the government for the project delays on the project I'm working on. They changed the rules on us after the fact. Just as we were nearing the end of the preliminary engineering design phase. They changed the environmental clearance for the project on us. This has resulted in a 2 year delay in the project as we had to put together a new report and jump through new hurdles to comply with the revised environmental clearance, and at the end of the day, nothing in the design is even changing. Useless bureacratic red tape at its finest...

People say the government needs to be "run like a business", but in an actual business the executive sets the strategic goals for the business, but Trump is a marketing guy, so he doesn't understand how executive leadership is supposed to work.
July 10Jul 10 You guys talk yourselves in circles about Trump. So he's a fascist, but a hands-off marketing type of fascist that prefers a free-for-all within his administration.

July 10Jul 10 And just like that, MAGA never talked about Epstein or Elon Musk again. The mass hypnosis is real.
