You know what we should do? We should appoint a Republican special counsel to look into the origins of the FBI investigation into Russia's activities in the 2016 election. Have him look for malfeasance and wrong doing. I'm sure it will lead to a ton of convictions.

Wait a minute...

It's just amazing people are this stupid and are falling for this BS. I think the average person is a complete idiot, but this is really just ridiculous levels of idiocy.

Again, the statement from the Obama office says nothing about what Obama ordered or not.

The docs in the tweets are another thing and worthy of looking into.

Not you but people right now: Deep state on both sides is hiding Epstein docs

Also them: Same deep state wouldn't cover for each other during Durham regardless of the docs that are being released.

Waste of a post. We were discussing the statement put out by the Obama team. Unforced error for you, chunked chip.

So this is on Trump too right?

Yes. Which was disproved by the docs and TG just counteracted again. You are in the woods again. Obama is lying and they have proof

Again, you either didn’t read the statement or didn’t understand it.

I’ll give you a chance. What point was the statement attempting to make?

Obama was like everything they said was BS. Thank you.

The docs and TG are like try again.

Well, anyone with a brain knew that this was all for show. Grand Jury documents are almost NEVER released because Grand Jury testimony is secret. It's the only way to protect people and get them to tell the truth.

You fell for more performance theater.

My most radical position is that there should be a constitutional amendment that requires passing the citizenship test in order to be able to vote.

People that failed or didn't take it still get civil rights, but you don't have a say.

I could support that, but it would harken back to things like literacy tests in the South which were used to prevent African-Americans from voting. The 24th Amendment specifically made a poll tax unconstitutional but didn't address the literacy test issues.

It's just easier to accept people are stupid and will elect morons who only care about their next election. Just accept we've crossed the Rubicon.

Missed three footer. You lose.

Also, referring Obama to the DOJ for prosecution is high comedy given the SCOTUS ruling on Presidential immunity.

Founders didn’t intended for everyone to vote and that didn’t just apply to slaves

You are still swinging in the sand saying you lose the hole

Well, technically Obama wasn’t POTUS since he was born in Kenya and thus ineligible. Duh.

I'll settle for anyone who learned to tie a pair of shoes.

People who wear these shouldn't have a vote that counts the same as mine.

Plus it continued after he was in office. He was president for the next 4 years, right ;) (Joke)

You gotta stop living in the 80s, dude. I'm not even sure they make those anymore, but they do make slip on shoes. Even child sizes for someone like you.

yeah, why are we wasting tax dollars to refer this ? this seems like a 180 to what DOGE was supposed to usher in.

Eh, I mean for as dumb as politics is now (and it's pretty Fn dumb), it's absolutely not even close to the idiocy that was politics during the Gilded Age.

I think in the way Boomers became spoiled because they came of age during an unprecedented economic boom, we became spoiled politically because up until twenty years ago, politicians in the early decades of our lives on both sides spent their youth going through the great depression and getting into gunfights with fascists so they were more keen on working together.

Karl Rove (an a-hole, but a very astute political historian) was on this episode of GoodFellows. Link cuts straight to the 12:30 mark where HR McMaster was asking Rove about politics then and Rove goes a bit in depth about politics during that era.

Outside of Nial Ferguson doing some mental gymnastics when it comes to Trump, HR McMaster and John Cochrane make it worth adding to the podcast rotation if you lean right.
