He'll sell it as a fund to reinvest in America but we already know how he'll use it. To punish foes and enrich him and his. The fascist regime is now fully funded, by one off muggings of our closest allies and a sales tax his followers are too stupid to understand (for now). It's a Trump deal, so EEUU and Japan are only so bound by it, but a fraction of those amounts is all the collateral he needs.I'm not laughing at all.

I don't remember the exact pricing but I think usd/bbl pricing has to be sustained somewhere north of 75-80 for it to be worthwhile.

July 28Jul 28 The amount of land required to operate a windmill is usually only a few acres. The acreage that gets touted by right-wing media often includes the area around the windmill that should be flat to optimize wind capture.Numbers are usually expressed in term of kilowatt / area. In the US we get close to 20MW/km², with some wind farms exceeding this number. This means one square kilometer - 0.38 mi² in freedom units - can power 16,000 - 30,000 homes. The arguments against wind power are entirely vibe based, and have no basis in hard facts. The red/conservate mid-west is the biggest beneficiary of wind power, which makes this even more bizarre:This is purely a case of people not liking "change", and thinking the "good old days" were better than they were.

July 28Jul 28 If prices of European vehicles goes up, it means the price ceiling of other vehicles in the same market have room to grow. There is an economic reckoning coming to the US that will involve consumer pain. Which seems to be the only thing many voters care about. You can whistle past the graveyard as much as you like in your posting here. But the time when these tariffs start making their way into higher costs is coming, and may well be here based on the spike in the last inflation report. Pre-tariff stockpiles and patience on the part of importers not to pass these on to consumers is disappearing or gone.
