No. Norway chose the better ASW frigate. The British type 26 is primarily an antisubmarine warfare vessel. The US Constellation clas is a guided missile frigate that can do ASW. Norway wanted ASW frigates.

No, I don’t need to research it, because I already know the Norwegians opted for the Type 26 because BAE had a quicker delivery timeline than Fincantieri, which worked out better for the Royal Norwegian Navy because they’re trying to hit their procurement targets vis a vis their 2030 plan.
