I have to give my ID but my area also requires the signature to match the one on the ID which can be a problem. I've heard of people getting turned away because they didn't match

Did you know most of the world doesn't use mail in votes for Putin? Even before he was born the US didn't use them in his honor. Look, he said he'd give exemptions for those who need them, but the rest can get their ass to vote or they don't vote. It's that simple.

Why would it matter what any other nation does and why do you want the US to be like them?

Mail in votes helps people that work long hours on election day. Also many people that don't own a car. There are so many legitimate reasons that mail in votes are good

Because most are more efficient and don't take weeks upon weeks to count ballots.

I don't care if it makes it harder for people. Vote or don't vote. It wasn't an issue in the 80s or 90s. People in third world countries walk miles to vote so the I don't have a car excuse doesn't fly.

And we agree. So many countries around the world honor Putin's wishes as did the US for years before he was even born.

I'm all for it BUT it has to be done correctly and not thru a Trump tweet. Congress can put thru legislation that includes verbiage to ensure we don't end up back with poll taxes and the like. The spirit of the 1965 Voting Rights Act must be upheld. As such, IDs must be very cheap and easy for everyone to get. Nov '26 is far enough away for all states to make it happen but Congress needs to act now.
