I have given Trump credit for project warp speed for COVID vaccine and the border work he has done thus far this term. Aside from those, not sure what else he deserves credit for to be honest.

Problem with Trump is and always has been: even when he gets it right, he gets it wrong. He either reverses his own positions and undoes the good of his very few positive accomplishments (ie fomenting anti vaccine drivel after doing a great job with Warp Speed) or his implementation leaves things as bad or worse than it was (controls the border but steamrolls human rights and terrorizes legal immigrants). His utter disregard for preparation and over reliance on spectacle as policy always undercuts any real long term strategy. He can be decisive and effective for one off decisions like bombing Iran, but always gets dog walked in negotiations with world leaders playing the long game. On top of all that his general economic and geopolitical "philosophies' are self centered, oversimplistic and just plain retarded. At the end of the day the only things he is actually long term effective at is fooling the base into cheering his indefensible corruption and curb stomping democracy.

I'd agree with that, which is my biggest frustration with him. He will do good things and then do something stupid like allow them to fire WH staffers today.
