If they are "constitutionally ineligible to the office of president" the 12th explicitly states they cannot be eligible for VPAs Vikas pointed out, the 22nd doesn't say that a person is ineligible to be president and being elected 2 terms. It says you're ineligible to be elected to the office of the president.

Back when the 12th amendment was written, there were no limits on how many times a person could be elected president.

The 12th says you're ineligible to be that vp if you're ineligible to be president (you've been elected to 2 terms). So the only loophole is through one of the other lines of succession if they've never been elected president for 2 terms
