Insane spending that we are STILL doing by the way.GDP for the last two years was 2.8-2.9%. It’s now at 1.7%. Job growth this year has been less than HALF of what it was last year. And inflation is going back up. That’s what happens when you engage in trade wars with the rest of the world.

And oddly enough, that's mostly what he did!

The gift that keeps on giving!" yeah nice deflection. Spending hasn't gone down. I know Trump promised it would go down and that he'd reduce the deficit as well, but that's not happening. In fact the deficit is going to get even worse over the next 3 years thanks to the tax bill he signed."As far as GDP, what are you talking about? You mean inflation??'No, I'm not talking about inflation. I'm talking about GDP. Q1 was an annualized rate of -0.5%. Q2 was an annualized rate of +3.8%. So for the first half of the year, we are at an annualized rate of +1.7%. GDP growth in 2023 was +2.9%, and in 2024 it was +2.8%. So we've gone from 2.8 - 2.9% to 1.7%. Inflation is currently at 3%.
