Had Kamala won, illegal immigration would definitely be worse, but the economy would be in better shape right now without a doubt. She wouldn’t have engaged in these moronic trade wars.

Biden immediately brought higher costs of living with insane spending, Kamala would have done the same.

I Fing hate that Gavin Fing Newsome is the guy fighting Trump the most effective way but here we are.

This only plays well to the retarded "mommy I protested Trump today!" theatre kid LARPers. Trump has damaged you all so much you'll literally support anything that the media tells you is anti-Trump, like a Muslim commie.

Same reason SNL isn't funny at all but TDSers watch it religiously--you need your anti-Trump therapy.

No, the pandemic and the response to it, which began under Trump and Biden continued, brought higher cost of living and insane spending. Insane spending that we are STILL doing by the way.

GDP for the last two years was 2.8-2.9%. It’s now at 1.7%. Job growth this year has been less than HALF of what it was last year. And inflation is going back up. That’s what happens when you engage in trade wars with the rest of the world.

Well it's certainly a good thing we haven't seen insane spending and higher costs of living under Trump so far!

Says the guy that's on here all the time defending a rapist. How very "Christian" of you, Michael.

Ah yes, the pandemic, the greatest thing that's happened to the Democratic party in it's history. The gift that keeps on giving!

As far as GDP, what are you talking about? You mean inflation??

GDP stands for Gross Domestic Product. It's one of the most prominently utilized metrics to gauge economic growth. Follow me for more tips and facts that you should've learned in 5th grade if you weren't an inbred reetard and hadn't been raised in a state with dogshit public schools.

And what is the unit of measurement for the GDP, is it dollars or a percentage?

Oh I see, you became very confused and disoriented because he didn't explicitly say GDP growth. That's true. Everything has to be spoonfed to the toothless rube from WV, per usual.

Yeah it's a pretty important clarification considering Biden got the benefit of that growth following a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic that destroyed the global economy (again, Covid is the greatest thing to ever happen to the Dems).

He could have sat in office and ish his pants and he would have seen that growth. And oddly enough, that's mostly what he did!

We'd be better off if Trump just did that as well. Instead, he does 100 F'ed up things a day, while also ishing his pants.

Inflation was literally 2.9% last year, which is the number he wrote.

But hey, you never miss a chance to jump into a conversation uninvited and **** it up for everyone.

"Ah yes, the pandemic, the greatest thing that's happened to the Democratic party in it's history. The gift that keeps on giving!" yeah nice deflection. Spending hasn't gone down. I know Trump promised it would go down and that he'd reduce the deficit as well, but that's not happening. In fact the deficit is going to get even worse over the next 3 years thanks to the tax bill he signed.

"As far as GDP, what are you talking about? You mean inflation??'

No, I'm not talking about inflation. I'm talking about GDP. Q1 was an annualized rate of -0.5%. Q2 was an annualized rate of +3.8%. So for the first half of the year, we are at an annualized rate of +1.7%. GDP growth in 2023 was +2.9%, and in 2024 it was +2.8%. So we've gone from 2.8 - 2.9% to 1.7%. Inflation is currently at 3%.

I'm hoping Mamdani achieves all of his wildest dreams in NY.   Can't wait to see all the former libertarians explaining how it wasn't really the Muslim commie who sent NY further into the dumpster but was somehow Trump.  It's coming

GDP

"GDP, or Gross Domestic Product, is the total market value of all final goods and services produced within a country's borders in a specific time period. It is a key indicator of an economy's health and growth, calculated using the formula: GDP = Consumption + Investment + Government Spending + Net Exports. GDP can be measured in different ways, including nominal GDP (using current prices) and real GDP (adjusted for inflation)."

And the number immediately following it was 1.7% and you still sat there and actually thought, "Hey, I bet he's talking about inflation, because that's definitely very plausible given how close 1.7% is to 3.0% and being that I'm a very well read and informed adult, I'll make a great point by suggesting that it is!" roll

Not surprising, if true. The lone site with an article on this has very poor rating of posting factual information. So while this seems like something Trump would do, it seems that this isn’t factual.
