January 25Jan 25 Regarding the southern border, there is no way it can technically be called an "invasion". That's reserved for actual military situations. As such, Trump may use military personnel to ASSIST local law enforcement and border control but he may not use military personnel "in direct support". Let's see if he sticks to what is legal. I suspect he will not and then things can get dicey if Trump attempts to unlock real war powers.
