There's only so many times you can tell someone not to touch a hot stove before you give up and sit back to watch their dumb ass find out for themselves. Normally I'd say it's the only way they'll learn, but it's the second time they've burned themselves, so clearly they lack the capability of learning entirely.

But when it did it the first time it as a targeted tariff on aluminum and steel. This time is a broad across the board tariff on anything from major trading partners. I better go ahead a buy a new computer and replace my iphone 6 before the prices of electronics/appliances go up due to tariffs on computer chips.

"Were you better off when Trump was president than now" was always the dumbest Republican battle cry. Trump benefited from his circumstances. He did nothing to improve the economy whatsoever. He is not a trailblazer and cannot come up with an original idea to save his life. That's why all his businesses fail and his latest money grabs are just taking advantage of existing fads (shoes, NFTs, crypto). This was all painfully obvious to see.
