December 31, 2025Dec 31 All obvious from the start. A giant marketing sheet show. All the serious analysis I’ve read points to around 40B in actual savings and at a great cost in soft power not to mention the effects on those people in foreign countries who have died or gotten sick.

The bottom line is that DOGE had almost zero impact on the actual expenditures. The AI entities - Grok says "zero savings" while ChatGPT and Google say 1-2B USD.It was a complete con job marketing ploy and a complete disaster for the country.
