 Yeah, that's how it works. While the ignorance bothers me it does make me feel even more secure about my job.

So a high school grad who has interned at Palantir is doing code reviews of employees working for the government.  I can just picture some old dude who is slow as molasses showing his code (is it still COBOL? ) to some 19yr old whiz kid who thinks he knows everything.

Completely bypassing the entire CM process (code reviews, QA, testing) sure seems like a great idea. What could possibly go wrong?

Well that's how it's supposed to work, isn't it? Some 19 year-old kid looks at some old code, doesn't understand it, so gets rid of it. Weeks later we are left wondering why we didn't get our tax return because some kid deleted the code.

Who needs all that fluff?  Certainly not an experienced 19yr old hackathon expert.

I can't wait to see how pissed the MAGA Hillary email screechers will be when they see this...

Exactly.  What's this piece of duct tape doing here?  We don't need that.

The biggest concern is the stupidity of anyone who thinks any of this is a good thing.

To be fair, no reasonable prosecutor would pursue charges.

Let this be the first stone laid on the road to healing and bipartisanship.
