Giving Lex Luthor even more access to our personal data and control over all of the government's computer systems sounds like a really brilliant idea.

It’s basically this kid:

I'm sure he is totally brilliant but I wouldn't put him of charge of making any real changes in real time to the code.  He just isn't going to begin to have any understanding of the pile of rotting sheet in that code stack.  It won't be anything like decoding an old Greek scroll and an AI engine is built to be logical and that code surely will be anything but logical all over the place.

I wouldn't allow ANYONE to make changes to code in real-time. There's not one legitimate development process that would ever allow such a thing.

Haha, I worked with a dude who did db memory cleanup/reorg live and I'm talking about at the address/ptr level.  This was back in the 80s.  He eventually lost his job because the disk with the entire customer register at the company crashed and he didn't have a backup.  What a dope.

He would also make a source code change to the system and then take a printout of the files off the shelf and write the change in by hand on the paper

 That's awesome.

At least the government would have backups of all their code......

This dude didn't have backups of the live data let alone the code.  Those printouts with hand written changes were his backups of the code.

To be fair, no reasonable prosecutor would pursue charges.

In that case we should drag the ketamine junkie in front of Congress committee for 8 hours and find out ourselves?

The sad part is, we'll never know which ideology was behind sending hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars to try to gay a country. It'll just remain one of those mysteries.

I know nothing about him other than that cool Roman story, and probably know even less about the code in question.

Just passing along the info.

The first person to serve a term as Vice President after his first term as President. That's notable.

Tough sheet. Politicians had years to loot the American taxpayer unsupervised. Now the autistic zoomer patriots are in control. If they don't like it, they shouldn't have turned the federal government into the patronage network for retarded liberals.

 DCoTP. Seriously.

Liberals are literally out there torturing animals with American taxpayer dollars so they can more effectively perform gender mutilation surgeries on people. You honestly can't hate them enough.
