Who in the world started this whole "USPS should be profitable" nonsense. It's a service the taxpayers pay for. If it was truly expected to turn a profit they would stop delivering to certain areas that make zero sense for profit purposes (looking at you rural America).

Probably Rand Paul’s profit margin of donations from Federal Express, UPS etc…

Establishment of the postal system is literally in the Constitution. It being targeted is wild. This is yet another example of red states punching themselves in the face.

I know several postal workers who voted for trump, I’m sure they will have no problems with gutting the USPS.

The amount of federal workers who voted for Trump saying "I still believe in his agenda but this should be planned better" has been fun.

want DOGE to make a real splash in cutting waste. how about congress loses their medical benefits and gets forced onto obamacare on their own dime. how about term limits that could cut out a ton of pensions?

It’ll get even better when the tariffs start showing effects.

Trump fired them too.  https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/feb/15/us-forest-service-national-park-service-layoffs

The US Forest Service is firing about 3,400 recent hires while the National Park Service is terminating about 1,000 workers under Donald Trump’s push to cut federal spending and bureaucracy, according to a report on Friday.
