You could maybe argue the NYC case did, but Trump committed clear crimes retaining classified material after leaving office in 2021 and he should have absolutely been prosecuted for that. Trump was saved by Garland being very apprehensive about prosecuting that case and waiting until 2023 before getting this in front of a grand jury.

February 24, 2025Feb 24 I was issued a new Medicare number due to a recent breach. Yesterday I got a summary report from Medicare on items that I supposedly received. Called the Medicare fraud hotline and reported. It was for about $7000 that was approved by Medicare and I may be billed for$1000. Company is in Florida and I live here in Pennsylvania. If Doge can ferret out this scammers, I’m all for it. Seems like they’re going after the wrong targets.

The one thing up in that list that really is misleading is the part about "cutting govt expenditures that Congress has already approved". If that was worded correctly to ensure that Congress still retains the power then it would be part of the overall effort to find costs that can be cut. I think most people don't understand what a "yes" implies without the part ensuring Congress' role.
