Good news is they should best New York for sure and guarantee they win the division. Bad news is this is the Eagles we all know and love. A team that looks good and then rips our hearts out when we start believing.

Have you seen the Dallas Cowboys? They lose games because of being undisciplined because they don't have fear of the coaching staff. Fear needs to be instilled in these players for doing stupid stuff.

Didn't want to be negative but the fast start was too good to be true.

Yeah that Smitty drop was the back breaker tbh. Defense did its job the series before. But yeah Fangio’s style of prevent and his disciples is awful. You gotta make things difficul. Put 3 rushers on the line and have extra guys in coverage. But to just let them get chunks over and over is gross. 
 

Also why not just have Baun 10-15 yards off the LoS as the 3rd safety if you’re gonna play him - can’t have him somewhere turning his back to receivers. 
 

 

There goes home field. Still need to win the division, but that depends on how bad Hurts is injured. The offense simply didn’t do enough with five turnovers. You can try to blame a play or two, but it’s cumulative. This was a team loss and a lot of blame to be handed around to a lot of people.

An easily winnable game even without hurts for most of it. Not a bad thing to drop the dud now so they can coach from it and play smarter and more disciplined into playoffs.

For sure. When the whole team is bad - I’m going straight to Siriani for not gathering composure and keeping this calm and clean. Instead Jalen goes down and chaos ensues in every facet.

Yes we are totally awesome when one of our 2 elite receivers isnt on the field so the answer is bench him that will get us wins.

They might lose that game as well.  The best teams in the NFL don't give up 21 point leads  pluseget 5 turnovers.  Then make untimely drops and still lose. That  takes across the board incompetence. 

We gotta play that QB 2x a year for like the  next 7 years or so. Yay.

I think Fangio was a bit too aggressive in some play calls but overall I don’t think how he called the game was the issue. They had multiple bad unsportsmanlike penalties and missed tackles and blown coverages uncharacteristic of how they played the last 10 games.

When Hurts got injured was when I thought we could lose this game. Our fast start was surprising and most likely would’ve continued had Hurts not get whacked in the helmet with no flag thrown btw. We would’ve won by a score or two.

Yup… which  is why they are pretenders. But the Giants are abysmal.

Look, they totally should have won this with Smith catching the ball but....

- We lost Hurts in the first Quarter (which I believe should have been a penalty)

- We had so many bad calls against us I lost count

- We had a really long shot at the #1 seed, win one of next two and you have the #2 seed.  Win next week and you just rest everyone during the Giants game.

A loss is never a good thing but.....It is a nice little smack in the face prior to the playoffs.  I'm not going to overreact, it sucks but in the big picture, means very little.  And like I said before, if we have to play the Redskins in the 1st round, I do believe this team will be ready for payback.
