Not to mention i think he's in the top 5 highest paid at his position.

Right now I’d rather have Ertz than Goedert. He’s never lived up to the potential. The Eagles have to find a better option than him.

  • Even the hurts haters have to admit that without him we’re a much worse team.

  • Sure. They'll play Daniels doing the bird 5 times and then Carter will kill the dude. Don't get the negativity. We were destroying them until Hurts was out and then had another garbage clown show

  • Trash talk. You don't get thrown out for that. Horrible refs. Those thugs knocked our QB with a dirty hit and our guys are getting tossed for naughty words? Seriously.

The good news from all of this is that the game appears to be meaningless in the whole scheme of things - and I'm not seeing any long term injuries either.

Well the Cowboys are out.

Eagles got a taste of losing today which was their own fault.  Just in time for the playoffs.  Time to saddle up.

I still cant get over the fact eagles had multiple picks and fumble recoveries and still lost.

Offense fkd us hard no lube.

Is there a hurts update?

I don’t think it would have been realistic for them to completely win out anyway. They need to find a bye week over the next couple of games since they had such an early bye too. They have been beaten up all season.

I still think an 18 week season should have 2 byes not just 1, especially now that the 2 seeds can't get a bye.  That should've been a compromise for removing the 2 seed bye, adding another bye to the regular season, but we all know money > player safety.

They will be adding another game eventually. Just watch.

I haven't seen one.

There used to be two bye weeks during the season.  If the NFL goes to 18 weeks, I expect the league to bring that back.

Me too. I expect a game to be added and a bye week in the future.

You don’t talk trash to the ref. That’s what he did, and he was an idiot for doing so.

That 'taunting' penalty is so absurdly bad. But twice and both times no offsetting penalty despite the other guy actually physically fouling is so terrible I ask myself if they were bought and payed for.

And f-- off to all the people saying he is an idiot or moron. You just don't like CJ.

Usually when trash talking gets a guy to snap and hit you, you are celebrated.

Honestly I watch red zone every week and I think it every week. Then I watch us every week and we get bogus call after bogus call. And then you see the calls KC gets and I mean they are going to win the SB again. It seems to be what the NFL wants so that’s what is going to happen.

Super star QBs always are better protected.

Seems like on half the hits Hurts takes a Brady or Rodgers would get a late hit flag.

Jalen went head first on that play. Although I do think there was some helmet to helmet contact there he should’ve slid instead of diving.

Agreed. This was hardly a great performance by that defense giving up 5tds, and 22 points in the 4th quarter, nor was this a great game by the back up and his 12 2nd half points. The Eagles needed touchdowns and he provided field goals. Apparently he also got hurt on that sack fumble was well. Bottom line is if Jalen produced a game like that after getting five turnovers people wouldn’t be saying he played well. Pickett didn’t even complete 60% of his passes.

He missed throws, 3 or 4 of his throws fell incomplete because he has a noodle arm and the offense stalled with him in there. Was he a disaster? No. But the defense (which was a problem) gave him good field position a couple of times and all we got were FGs. If he plays next week we need the offense to be elite otherwise forget it.

Don’t think he’s giving the Eagles an elite offense. He’s going to throw it though. He might get a lot of turnovers, but he’s going to throw it.

Well we've seen it with Minshew and now Pickett, the team needs Hurts to win, despite what some Eagles fans seem to believe. I'll be honest the defense absolutely crapped the bed in this one and are like 90% of the reason for the loss, but at least with Hurts in there the offense would have been able to compensate since they had 5 turnovers to work with and Pickett did jack ish with them. Hurts in there and it's a **** defense game but a win, probably like 50-36 instead of 33-36. Possibly even a bit less for the Commanders due to longer drives by the Eagles.

Looked like the tail end his head got driven into the turf more than a helmet to helmet that caused it. The league doesn't protect running qbs diving head first they never will.

Hurts says he’s fine and will be good to go next week. Let’s hope he’s right

There were a lot of things wrong Yesterday but one that really sticks with me is that stupid ass wildcat call on 3rd and Goal, there was no disguise, no misdirection, just Saquon taking the snap.

Does anyone know were the coaches asked about that call, because it would've sucked at any time in any game, but to pull out the least creative play in your trick play folder at that point in this game ought to get someone's ass kicked.

I´m over the loss already. Just a weird outlier that makes very little sense. For one, how often does a team force five turnovers and lose? It was a divisional game on the road in which we lost our QB early, came up against a hot new QB who played pretty well in streaks (let´s be fair - WAS has found its QB). Strange officiating all around for both teams. Eagles had multiple shots to ice the game.

These things happen, especially in the division. I think Jalen will be fine to go against Dallas. (I thought the hit he took was unlucky rather than dirty, by the way.) We still only need beat either DAL or NYG to be the #2 seed. I still think we will win the next two and end up 14-3, which was my prediction at the beginning of the season. Tampa lost last night and no longer control their destiny, which is good because I want no part of them in the playoffs - they are some kind of strange bogey for the Eagles.

The future still looks bright. We were never getting the #1 seed anyway. Lions have a fragility to them and big injury problems. Minnesota are not as good as their record. Atlanta will be one and done if they get in. Rams don´t worry me. Packers and WAS would have to go to the Linc. Things play out as I expect, the NFCCG will be in Philly, against MIN. And that´s the perfect scenario.

Bottom line is he went forward instead of sliding and players are going to take shots on quarterbacks who don’t protect themselves. Hope he learns from this and makes better decisions.

I said it early on before he got injured but why was hurts running it so much - out of his 7 plays , 3 were runs. That’s just not sustainable.

He really needs to be smarter as he often gets hurt when running. It hurts the Team as we rarely win when he’s not playing

I don’t know if Jalen will be fine for Dallas. If he has a concussion then he needs to go through concussion protocol and if he does that could be late in the week. Do you really want to risk putting Jalen out there after a week of little to no practice especially against the idiot Cowboys who are looking to play spoiler against teams? Meanwhile one week later we have the Giants who are begging to lose. On top of that it seems Pickett is also banged up. Maybe this Cowboys game should be a McKee game with the backups.
