Ive been going to reddit more in the recent months. mostly for a few radom subreddits, but a lot of stuff directs me there from google when i have questions about how to do something. i see the eagles subreddit over there and it always reminds me that when they shut down the OG message board, everyone was directed over there. its a complete mess. people are trying to get posts containing twitter links deleted because they dont like Elon. its like CVON and TATE got mixed together and only the bad parts survived. going there made me thankful we still have this place.

Yeah the front page of reddit is just people whining about Trump and Elon - it's basically just like CVON 

 

Reddit is a cesspool of libtards. I go there too for the same reason - if I google something and it directs me there or sometimes to read entertainment gossip or true crime stuff. But don’t expect reasonable political opinions and they absolutely will find some way to inject their mania into even the most a-political of topics. 
 

While on the topic of social media, the Eagles fan group on Facebook annoys me too. A bunch of attention ****s posting their thirst traps and everyone plays kumbaya with their responses. It annoys the shiz out of me. It’s like you guys are not my people and cannot possibly be Eagles fans.

Sightly off topic, I've found Google to be a giant piece of crap in recent times when searching stuff. It's now just a bunch of paid/sponsored stuff and everything else is completely lost. So you get shoved to reddit or whatever other piece of crap site has paid the most money to be the first on the list and there isn't as much variety

Don't know if this will make a difference, but try it and see. Open a private browser that doesn't use your cookies, then do a search and see if it's different from a regular browser.

I use incognito for most things but I've even noticed that does nothing now. Pretty sure I've got all the tick boxes turned off in Google as well

I've even found targeted ads from my incognito searches which never used to happen before
