At least it's not in f'n Arizona, Eagles never played well there to begin with, even before they played there in the SB.

You will hate me for doing this, but...

I have the same feeling I did before Minn where I'm worried and pissed off that they will fall short to a dynasty yet again, but also a strange feeling they will win anyway. This team hasn't given us any reason to doubt them. Our last SB was in a dome, so maybe that's our thing?

When you go down the roster there aren't many Chiefs you'd take over Eagles. They have good lines, but the Eagles are better. They've never faced a defense like the one coming and I don't give a F about that Vic has never beaten Mahomes crap. Those teams didn't have Carter and that secondary. They didn't have Baun and CJ. One team needs the refs to continually bail them out and the other beats teams up. Which one would you want to face? Especially, when one team just dished out revenge to the tune of 55 points. They remember what happened 2 years ago, but things have changed, and the Eagles are going to be fired up and ready. They owe them an ass kicking.

For two weeks we are going to hear nothing but things like they don't have a chance against the GOAT with a backup QB. The Eagles will hear it and save receipts.

This is going to be ugly, we are all going to hate life at times, but when that clock hits zero it's going to be raining green this time.

I’m in a corner. I should feel like this is bad but also whatever you’ve been doing recently has worked.

I have to come back with the screw everything I said we are f'ed post in a few days as well. I just can't compliment Hurts. Did that in the Rams game and things immediately went to hell.

Did we go three and out last game and the one before to start the 3rd?  That's where I was going with it.

Didn't realize we kicked to start the 2nd half in all 3 of our more recent SBs. So yeah, F that. Now I want the ball, lol.

Feels like the D is clicking nicely.  I think we get some outs in the 2nd half this time.

We did go 3 and out this past game, but so did  the Commies, we then scored on every drive after I believe until the kneel down.

Yeah, I know it's bad, but we are beating them- refs or no refs.

I said that 2 years ago and then that happened

Crazy how how the red sea basically parted for the Eagles, each round if you looked at the potential matchup that the Eagles could've drawn they drew the more favorable matchup every single time and the Commanders even gave them back homefield for the NFCCG so that they didn't have to travel to Detroit; and then after they did that they came to Philly and got absolutely destroyed.  Now hopefully the blessings continue with some sweet revenge for the Eagles for 2022.

Haven't they been working w at least 1 back up tackle majority of the yr?

Honestly, I don’t know. I think I may have heard one of their guards has been playing tackle.

Am I the only one thinking that we are going to absolutely abuse KC? I think we win by no less than 12 points.

I wouldn't be surprised.

I mean, I hope so, but it really depends on the refs.  By the numbers the Eagles are a much better team than the Chiefs, but so were the Bills and a bunch of BS calls screwed them over.   The NFL wants it's 3peat story so there's more than likely going to be some Fery by the refs.

I think our defense will set the tone with them, I trust them to get stops and force turnovers. Chiefs will make their plays, refs will help them and all of that. But the offensive line will abuse them, Barkley will eat and the defense will step up. If Hurts plays like he did this last week and in his best performances, the pass game will do enough to complement the run game.

In the last SB, the Chiefs had 2 WIDE OPEN receivers waltz in for TDs. It was embarrassing. This defense is more swarming and aggressive. The Eagles will be physical on both sides. They need to watch penalties, mistakes and not giving the refs anything to work with against them.

I think the Eagles dominate as well.  They'll probably play the way they've done all season and rely on the run game/defense to win.  I think they'll win by 10+ points. The defense will get like 3 turnovers, and Barkley will have 140 yds or so rushing.  I see it being like 31 -20 Eagles.

My concern is that the Eagles feast on turnovers… I don’t see KC committing any turnovers, so it will be tough.

Why?

In regular season the Eagles were the 6th best team at turnover differential, the Chiefs were 12th. Their offense gave away 14 turnovers, Eagles gave away 15. Our defense created more turnovers (26) than theirs (20).

In the playoffs (they played 1 less game): Eagles are the best at turnover differential and Chiefs 8th. Eagles: 10 takeaways, 0 giveaways. Chiefs: 0 takeaways, 1 giveaway.

Expect the Eagles to force turnovers and win the differential battle.

Green jerseys in a dome with Brady there. Seems familiar 🤔

There's never been a band that looked more like the mugshots of the chief suspects for a bunch of 1970's sex murders than Steely Dan.

Its all gonna come down to how Hurts plays.

Also its possible for us to make no mistakes and play the way we want to and still lose. Thats what we are up against.

Yeah, from a math perspective, it would appear that the Eagles should be able to make something happen, but I'm not sure it works that way.

In any case, I hope the difference maker here is that the field will be in much better shape than the previous super bowl, allowing the Eagles D to put more pressure on Mahomes...I'm sure Barkley is gonna like running on turf too.

I think they're a bit underrated, but I've always liked their music, going back into the 70's when I was a little kid.

KC keeps winning by 3 on Butker field goals at the end of the 4th quarter. Maybe they used up their supply against Buffalo.

Maybe we can arrange for Jake to kick for them in the 4th quarter?

Okay guys so HOW DO WE BEAT THE CHIEFS?

No matter how big or small your understanding of football is, I want to hear what you think we need to do on offense, defense, special teams, and coaching to dethrone the Chiefs.

Yeah- I like to PLAY classic hard rock stuff, but I listen to bands like Steely Dan, and a lot of EDM stuff, too. I listen to EVERYTHING, but like playing the harder stuff. 👍🏻
