Last night I was watching highlights again for about the millionth time, and I couldn't help noticing how loud the crowds noise was any time the Eagles did anything good.  It was like a Home Game.  (Or like an Away Game where we dominate the stadium.)  To any of you who were actually there at the game:  Bravo.  You did good.

I won't swear to it, but I think it was before the half on an incompletion that should have been caught. I think by Hopkins. But I'm not 100% on it.

You may be right there! I’ll be watching the game in full over the weekend so I’ll try and spot it. That dude did seem to lose faith early though.

I just watched it last night with Merrill and Mike's audio and they showed it, but I didn't really take not of when it happened but I'm pretty sure it was early on.

Just curious, have you posted about how your Super Bowl experience in Philly went? Not just the Super Bowl itself, but the whole experience? I'm not sure, was it your first time in Philly (or the U.S. in general)?

Just watched the Mic'd up. It was awesome. Save to bookmarks, will watch over and over again. They did a great job.

 

 

I liked it so much I took notes and grabbed screen shots of cool photos to remember:

• Eagles confidence before the game, they were talking about dominating already.
• Siri after the sacks was counting them, he knew they were going to get to Mahomes.
• Baun to DeJean on his pick 6 how he saw it coming "that's some veteran s***"
• Barkley kept everyone focused, one coach told him to go into the huddle and be the calming factor.
• In the huddle before the AJ Brown TD, Hurts called it. "Touchdown."
• Halftime, Barkley: "Don't fall for it. We're 0-0, stay locked in. The scoreboard is for them (the public)."
• Brandon Graham calling and motioning "holding" right in Mahomes face was glorious.
• After Smitty TD, Lane to Hurts "I love when they doubt you, they can't F with you, dog." Hurts: "I know."
• 34-6, a Chiefs D lineman shaking his finger when stopping Barkley. Look at the scoreboard.
• Winning 40-6, Hurts was all business on the sideline. Calcaterra said to him you can smile. Hurts said "I can't lie to you bro, that last one changed my soul man. It did. It ain't never over, til the fat lady sing, you know."
• Chris Jones: "We've been so spoiled over the last 2 years, all we know is winning."
• Hurts to AJ: "You know that's what we come here for, and I told you we were gonna do this when I made that call." (When he called him when the Eagles traded for him.)
• Hurts and Siri both told Barkley how much he changed the team and made a difference. Siri said what a great person, not just the player.
• All the players kept telling each other that they deserved it.
• The pre-game huddle: "Family" (Gino Toretto would approve)

Took videos on Broad Street and a couple in the bar we were in. Not great quality but yeah I did.

 

 

In the history of the NFL the leader in pass attempts per game won the SB once - Mahomes in 2023.

The only QB to lead the league in passing yards and win the SB was Slick Field Mahomes with the refs in his pocket in 2022.
