I'm still mildly annoyed they let them score garbage time points.  That score would've looked so much better at the end.

Yeah, that bugs me too, but not to any major extent. It bugs me in that I really wanted the blowout to look like the blowout that it was and I REALLY wanted a shutout.

But I'm perfectly happy with 40-22. The entire planet knows the truth of the matter... and maybe a few other planets know, too.

He should have gotten it with what the actual engraving will be on it. But it looks good anyway, though I'm not really a tattoo kind of person. Especially now that they're linking the ink with some cancers.

I've been a little disappointed in the lack of videos from NFL Films. After LII, they had some great videos. Videos that I still love watching even now. I like the ones for LIX that they've put out, but they aren't like the LII ones. Or even the NFCCG ones.

Yeah there’s not a ton of content out there right now even though I’m sure there’s a ton of content they could put out.

I’ve watched the game back and a couple of times and there’s one thing that stands out to me that I felt at the time too. I was just supremely confident in our offense. After that first drive I just didn’t feel like we could be stopped. I felt like we’d score on every drive (which we did on most) and we would control the clock. Even on 3rd downs I just felt like we’d get it and if we didn’t we’d go again on 4th down and get it. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so confident during a game.

Hunt contributed, Ojomo looks like he can take up part time snaps for Milton who wasn't a full time player. They have good depth.

Hunt was relentless in the SB. High effort, and had his way out there. I’m excited for his development as a 3rd rusher

From Ross Tucker (paraphrase)

This 2024 Eagles SB Win makes them a team for the ages like the 1985 Chicago Bears. This team will stand out and be remembered for their dominance. 18 wins, (only 18 win champ this century) woodshedding in NFCCG and Super Bowl, number 1 D, and Saquon.

They have slashed the hell out of their operating costs. Peter Schrager had to pay his own way to the SB last year. They are trying to sell NFL Network to the mouse (ABC/ESPN/Disney)

Its a different world from 2018. I used to watch NFL Network shows every day. Now I watch YouTube content like Grossi/Perna, Ross Tucker, Baldy, and like 10 others. I will watch NFL Network after a big Eagles win or trade deadline, or some other big news day. Even then I might just watch the YouTube version.

Wouldn't have been much of a hardship if he hadn't made it. Can't stand that guy 🤣.

I liked the dynamic of Kay, Nate, Peter, and Kyle. Nate was probably the only one I liked by themselves.

They did a really good job of being all over SB LII before and after so that original team will always be OK in my book.

I liked Kay (I wonder why) but then to be fair I don't mind Jamie (I also wonder why). Nate was good but that was about it. Kyle can be alright but at other times he gets on my nerves and yeah I've never taken to Peter. To be fair I rarely watch it these days just see clips on social media.

It's definitely disappointing. I too used to watch Total Access frequently, but it went downhill and off course, now doesn't even exist.

You may be right there! I’ll be watching the game in full over the weekend so I’ll try and spot it. That dude did seem to lose faith early though.

Nope, it happened on the strip sack.

Him falling to his knees off the bench? That happened before the half, after Hopkins dropped a 3rd and long pass.

One of the nice things about this SB is not having the grade Z- announcing of Michaels and Collinsworth.

We all know Collinsworth was rooting hard for the Narrative of another Brady win.

Al Michaels might have been drunk. Jeffrey and it iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiissss... a touchdown. Just call the touchdown as a touchdown and if the refs call it incomplete you say it hit the ground after.

His Jesse James verbal diarrhea all night was bush league. He made McNabb look like a great talking head by comparison. He also sounded like he was rooting for the Patriots by rooting against anything Eagles being a catch all night. Jesse James spiked the football into the ground as part of the catch process. No play in SB LII was anything like Jesse James. Having 6 men on the ice was just as close a comparison.

FWIW on McNabb: I had a weird SB LI in Germany so it was like 3:30 in the morning and I just wanted more NFL conversation so I got ESPN on the internet. McNabb was one of the 2 hosts. He kept talking about excrement (dook or whatever stupid word mommy gave him for it) and he kept talking about how Brady should retire. (Brady went to 3 more SBs and won 2)  McNabb not only never had it. He can't even recognize it.

The last 4 words in the thread title …

SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS AGAIN!!

🥺

Still hasn’t completely set in!!!!

The Eagles won in dominating fashion. I loved that about Superbowl 59. I want more.

Definitely prefer the domination to a last second nail biter, but the last second nail biter that we won, was very exciting. Since we won it, I wouldn't change a thing about it. I just don't want them to do that again, I only want dominating wins.

The show Turning Point was great after LII. I was hoping they'd make one for LIX but I'm not thinking there will be. I don't think they did one for the conference finals either.
