December 20, 20223 yr Author Really jamie? How dumb are you? 1923 aired last night too. Good start to that series!

January 2, 20233 yr Author Oh jamie growing some little turnips down there. Going to go kill beth before she kills him.

January 3, 20233 yr I watched the first episode of 1923 pretty wasted on NYE and there was something with a Cheetah or Lion or something. it was weird.

Protect the ranch, rules don’t apply to the duttons cuz they make the rules. There’s a catholic school teaching native Americans how to be more white and that’s going about how you would expect it. It does help the whole family tree so you know how we get to Yellowstone. there’s supposedly a 1932 on the side burner too but hasn’t been confirmed or picked up yet. That would bridge some more gaps pre Yellowstone too.

May 19, 20232 yr I see that Peacock will begin Season 5 on May 25. For those of us who don't have Paramount channel. I also watched 1883 and 1923, will put in spoilers just in case. Spoiler For Mother's Day, my son set me up a profile, gave me his user and password for Paramount + on my Roku. Believe it or not Yellowstone does not stream on here. I thought that was weird. Anyway, I just finished 1883 and 1923. I thought they were good, liked 1923 a little better. Enjoyed all the characters in this one, whereas 1883 seemed to center more around Elsa. I see 1923 will continue with 8 or so more episodes. Love learning the Dutton family history. Is Sylvester really married to royalty? That ending was something. The Catholic school for the Indian girl scenes were brutal. I never got wacked that hard with a yardstick. Just stung a little. Here's link that sort of explains the ending. https://outsider.com/entertainment/tv/yellowstone/1923-finale-explained-alexandra-key-to-everything/
May 19, 20232 yr Author Season 5 will be the last. 😞 Sheridan just couldn’t put his ego aside and Costner has had enough. There’s a sequel spin off coming though. I land Mathew mconaughey is confirmed for 1944. So plenty of sorry left. I’m just mad they are doing Costner wrong. He’s a legend.
June 3, 20241 yr I just watched 1883 last week and started 1923. 1883: loved it, it was very well done. I've seen comments that it was too boring or depressing. It was supposed to be. It showed how rough they had it on the Oregon trail and the effort to get there. It did focus a little too much on the daughter but I still liked it. Sam Elliot gave a good performance. There were a couple things that helped highlight why John Dutton III in Yellowstone talks so much about all his family did to fight to keep that land. There were a couple silly things but overall a good show. 1923: I'm only 3 episodes in so far. It's meh. I don't like that they jumped 40 years. They should have made another season of 1823. I wanted to see them grow the ranch from scratch. The Spencer storyline in Africa and the woman he's with are like a bad movie made in that time. Horrible dialogue, the woman is annoying and not a good fit for a Dutton type woman and they're trying way too hard to make him a macho hero out of an old comic book or 1940s TV show. Helen Mirren steals the show, and her and Ford together are good. Some of the story lines are not interesting. 1883 was so good. 1923 is a disappointment so far. Sheridan went too hard trying to MCU his Yellowstone universe. Should have slowed down, done a couple seasons of 1883 or just doe a 3-4 season show that jumps a few years each season to slowly establish the Yellowstone ranch and characters.

June 4, 20241 yr I liked 1883 quite a bit. I never managed to make it through 1923 - the wife got a bit turned off - and of course I stopped watching.

December 4, 20241 yr The new episodes have gotten better, but Casey Spoiler pointing the gun at the daughter was so out of character it kinda ruined the momentum.

Not really though. He’s done plenty in the past that was swept under the rug or forgotten about. Blood on the entire Dutton family hands at the end of the day. We know where this is heading. The ranch will be Tates and Beth & Rip move to Texas to run the 6666 ranch.
December 16, 20241 yr The finale was a dumpster fire. I’m fine with suspending disbelief somewhat but there is no way the whole Beth/Jamie stuff makes any sense at all.
March 10, 2025Mar 10 I am now watching Season 2 of 1923 on Paramount +. Yesterday's episode 3 was really good. Not sure if I still have Peacock, but I see that Season 5 part 1 of Yellowstone is on, and part 2 is set for release 3/16.
