Picks thread will close within 10 minutes of the draft beginning. You can alter picks until then. Please don’t leave comments that aren’t picks in the picks thread. It’s ok to help people correct their mistakes but please delete your comment then after

You must get at least one pick correct each day to move onto the next day.

Bonus points and amount of picks may adjust each day depending on the eagles draft circumstances.

To make it as easy as possible please follow template shown below

1st Round Rules. First round is going to be pretty chalk this year for obvious reasons.

You have 7 picks in the first round to guess who Eagles will pick. and you can make a fav pick for a bonus point.

There are no moving up or down bonus points for the 1st Round

If no pick is made on Thursday then everyone moves onto Friday round 2

Let me know if I’m missing questions or rules and I’ll fix.

So if I understand the rules correctly for this year, the points awarded for Round 1 would be:

1 point for correct pick in your list of 7 players

1 point for locking in the pick as your favorite

So maximum 2 points for Day 1, and of course with a trade out of the first round then everyone advances?

What's gonna be the tiebreaker protocol for this year?

If two people have the same number of picks /points correct by the end of the contest but in different rounds is the person with the more earlier round picks (Rnds 2,3,4 instead of 5,6,7) the person who wins the tiebreaker?

And if you're wondering, yes I am asking because of the 2017 draft contest and the tiebreaker rule that year 😄

I assume if the Eagles trade up for a second pick in the 1st round, you just need to hit on one of the picks to advance?

A pick on day 1 is a pick on day 1. Call it correctly and I can’t see how it wouldn’t count.

I honestly don’t see that happening though … I don’t think it’s likely we make 2 picks on day 1. Maybe we move up from 32 but can’t see us using picks to get back into the bottom of the round. But that would sure make it interesting … it would allow someone to walk away with 3 points at the conclusion of round 1.

Yeah, I don't disagree ... but I am a bit of a rules nerd and it is certainly not impossible.

75, tie breaker is most players correct total over three days minus bonuses (if it comes to that)

If for some reason the eagles were to make two 1st round picks then yes you could earn 3 points and you’d only need one point to move to the second round

*note if first round has no picks and is a push, only those who made picks in 1st round move on. Sloths will not be rewarded

My neurons and synapses are firing on overdrive. Its a marvel letting this thing do its work. Picks will be forthcoming when the work is done.

You said trade up and trade down aren’t going to give points, but what if you guess the player is "no pick”. Thats a little different, wouldn’t that garner a point as it’s a guess on who the eagles come away with?

Good question but no, and I’ll give you my reason

I think it’s 25-30% chance it’s no pick. I think just about everyone here agrees it’s a reasonable chance. 100% of entries would include "no pick”

This is essentially the same thing

I have pretty standard picks. Just warning I might go nuts at the last minute and make wild picks just to be different

There are about 400 "Jaylen"'s in this draft and every single one is spelled different.

You're not alone, @NCiggles thinks the same way.

I forgot the draft is THIS weekend. I am travelling on Friday, gone through the weekend. Even if I get one right, I might not make any more picks this weekend! LOL

Guess I better put together a couple names when I’m done work.. gonna be hard this year for sure but this is a fun contest.. if i remember I think I had a share of the lead last year.
