So why not be courteous to the child guest with cancer?

No idea what you're referring to.

Guess you’re unfamiliar with the reference made in the tweet you responded to.

Some Democrats remained seated when Trump trotted out a kid with terminal cancer in the 2025 SOTU as a prop, right as he was explaining how a guy with a brain worm who collects raccoon Ds was going to remove toxins from our water supply .... while also taking a chainsaw to the EPA.

Trumptards spend nearly 100% of their time rheeeeing about some percieved slight or grievance. Standing for a visiting dignitary is normal despite their obscure references. I have no idea what an Angel mom is either. Complaining about standing for king Charles is right up their with complaining Obama's tan suit. I do however remember them yelling at Zelinski when he didn't wear a suit to the white house, so I guess Trumptards think that being rude to all foreign heads of state is what is "normal" now.

Ah so the democrats didn't stand one time, so by Trumptard logic they should never stand and clap for anyone ever again. Very on brand.

At Biden's last SOTU, Republicans brought the father of one of the soldiers that died in Afghanistan to shout at Biden through the speech. They're very concerned with showing respect and would never politicize a SOTU.

Supporting kids fighting cancer is the one place I thought even cvon could come together on.

Or maybe the Dems do support fighting childhood cancer, which is why they didn't clap for Trump

Each year, close to 5,000 children are diagnosed with brain tumors, which are the leading cause of pediatric cancer related death. Last month, the Trump administration announced it would stop supporting a federally funded network dedicated to researching these deadly cancers.

Starting in March 2026, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Consortium will no longer receive funds from the National Cancer Institute, which is the federal government's principal agency for cancer research.

Not all of them I guess.

Yeah, not the one's at the SOTU, F them kids, but the 5K, they're cool.

To recap: Dems do not support the handful of kids at the SOTU, but do support the 5K kids that got their funding cut. Reps do not support the 5K that got their funding cut, but do support the handful at the SOTU.

Republicans have cut cancer research funding. Why do they become the ones who care because they had one child with cancer at the speech? Did they fund his treatment or do anything for him other than make him a political prop?

It seems to me MAGA is very concerned with optics and how things play on tv and not so much about actually helping people

How you got that from what I wrote is um…special.

Trumptards: lol democrats say "no kings” but they cheered for a king

Meanwhile the king they cheered for:

He sounds a lot less like a king than the megalomaniac sitting in the White House

From the original response. They couldn’t be courteous to a kid with cancer because republicans are bad.

Then you got the tater responding with F them kids.

So if your kid had cancer clapping for him is better than funding his treatment. That tracks.

No, F the clowns parading him around for show, regardless of their party. Simple enough for you?

Nope. Not even close to what I said.

Being ignorant to a child with cancer because "republicans bad” is just pathetic.

So take it out on the kid cause "republicans bad”. Makes sense.

You haven’t even offered any proof of anyone "being ignorant”. Some idiots on twitter said so and you’ve been rheeing about it non stop. And yes cutting cancer funding for kids is bad.

What did they "take out on the kid” exactly? Whatever it was can you let us know, since you seem to be the arbiter here, how long before any democrat anywhere can clap for someone else?

I clapped for someone yesterday
