The "foreign intelligence" angle still makes no sense to me. He's pretty lock step with Trump so that rules out Russia. He's said some questionably antisemitic stuff but overall he's anti-Palestine so Israel seems far fetched. He seemed to mostly opposed to direct intervention in Iran. I dunno it just seems as if the usual suspects seem unlikely to have pulled something like this. But hey let's see what they find. Major news in the Charlie Kirk investigation:

- Investigators have recovered the weapon they believed was used to kill Kirk. They found a high-powered, bolt-action rifle in a wooded area near the area. They believe the shooter ditched the weapon here while fleeing.

- The weapon had several prints, including a palm imprint.

- According to Beau Mason, Utah’s public safety chief, authorities "have good video footage of this individual.” They are attempting to use facial recognition software to track down the suspect, but will release footage if unsuccessful.

- Authorities believe the shooter is a male, who is around college age. Mason added, "We are confident in our abilities to track that individual.”

It’s still crazy to me that people can get so worked up over a YouTuber or social media poster. I was amazed by the amount of people that showed up to the event. I’ve only ever seen clips from ground level in front of him sitting. I didn’t realize hundreds of people showed up to these and that you had to buy tickets.

Also can’t believe someone can get so worked up over someone doing this to kill them.

Anyone with a moral compass should condemn political violence and the murder of Charlie Kirk. Nothing good comes from this. Being an a-hole should never be a death sentence, and his killer should, and will, face justice.

Nothing is stopping anyone from using their platform to promote unity and positivity. He chose the opposite.
