For starters, millions of kids are brought up by conservative parents and become liberal by the time they get through high school and especially college. That's nothing new and widely regarded as "the usual process". Some continue to be progressive throughout their lifetimes - and others eventually become more conservative as they grow older.Certain personality types tend to take things even further - and YES can become radicalized.
