I’d love it. Agree the over thinking it and it’s why they have problems. I also don’t think they build on things either over a game or over course of a season.

That said i really just don’t think they have the right coaching in place on offense. I don’t see it as fixable this year. Frankly i said last year, i didn’t think being a historic rushing team again was sustainable. It’s such a hard way to win big every year and defenses adjust to it with an offseason. so the passing game and scheming had to be much better for 2025. Unfortunately it’s really not.

That's part of why I want the hurry up. Keep the coaches out of it a little bit more. Let the talent on the field shine.

I think we should shut down Jurgens and Dickerson for a few games. Let Toth and the couple of new guys play. Its obvious they're a liability with their health statuses and a break will do them good and get ready for the post season.

I think you are hitting on something. As soon as Eagles clinch playoffs spot/divison. We rest all our injured guys and get hyperfocused for playoffs. This regular season stuff is... for the Birds. Ha. Make the Bills game and final games an exhibition game. Don't care if they play a couple road games in playoffs. Rather them be healthy. Will be their only shot in playing with a completely healthy bunch or close to that. This crew seems like it will be running on fumes at current rate. That 2023 team got laid out on the field in that Bills overtime win in November and never was the same again. Ran out of ️. And hope that Sirianni is playing 4D Chess with offense and revamps it completely for playoffs.

For me, it's some of column A and some of column B. In my twenties, witnessing a loss like yesterday's would've sent me into a spiral. Like literal loss of hours of sleep, inability to focus, grumpy mood, etc. I legit had an unhealthy obsession with the sport, and in many ways I still do, but not nearly as bad as it used to be.

All of this, plus the knowledge that we have won it all twice and never again do we have to ask the question to ourselves, " Will this ever happen for us?” Right now, Eagles losses sting more in the moment, but they don’t ruin my week like they used to.

Tbh it pisses me off more cause it is Dallas. Against someone like bears, whatever I’d be upset in the moment and irritated. It just pisses me off against those Ffaces they managed to F it up that bad

Yup. I feel like lurie has to be watching the talent we have on offense not being maximized and utilized properly and just being furious. Imo if the offense was coached as well as the defense then this team really doesn’t have much competition based off roster quality.

100% and let's be honest we don't even need a SM or KS type of offensive genius. If we just had someone who was decent we would a top 10 offense and dominating the league with the defense we have. I don't think people realize just how bad Sirianni is as an offensive coach and he was hired to be an "offensive mind." He was a complete and total disaster the first few games of his career when he was the play caller. Credit to him for realizing that and giving the reigns to Steichen but that doesn't change the facts. Then Steichen leaves and an internal candidate gets hired which means Sirianni is more involved in the offense and we all saw what happened in 2023. The following year Howie goes outside of the organization for someone to run the offense which relegated Sirianni to being a true CEO head coach and we were one of the best teams in NFL history and won a SB. Then it's groundhog day because Moore leaves for a head coaching job, Sirianni gets his little clone best buddy hired and he is back to being way too involved in the offense and it's struggling possibly worse than it ever has during his tenure as head coach. Nothing is ever as simple as one thing. The OL has been banged up and an issue this year and Saquon looks like a RB who got way overused the prior year but the Sirianni led offense with his clone calling his plays is an absolute joke HS offense. Go routes, hitches, slants in the pass game, wing-T runs up the middle with bad blockers like GC leading the way, and mind blowingly predictable play calls. It's an absolute disaster and Sirianni and Kevin are by far and away the biggest issue.

I really feel like 2023 happened and Sirianni literally had to sort of interview to keep his job and the only reason he kept it was with the understanding that he would be a CEO coach and not be directly involved with the offense. It was Kellen's O, Vic's D, and Sirianni's job was to manage the team and get them motivated and ready to play every week and it worked. Then the team wins a SB and he leveraged that to get his boy hired as OC and weasel his way back into being majorly involved in the offense and we are all seeing the results looks similar or even worse than the past when he called plays or was the primary game planner for the offense. I REALLY hope that Howie and Lurie see what's obvious and learn from it and fix this moving forward. Sirianni as a CEO head coach with great coordinators is fine, anything more than that and he will only get in the way of the talent that Howie has put together.

And yet we thought he was our guy to catch punts and kick offs

I never understood the move especially with Covey sitting on the PS all year. Covey was not only extremely reliable but he also had his moments as a pretty good PR.

The big play to Pickens on the last drive may have been the most Sirianni snowball thing ever. He calls a timeout letting Dallas and Dak, who has notoriously been awful in clock management situations, regroup and draw up a play. Carter then wipes out Quinyon after Turpin goes in motion, Dak hits Pickens, and then Sydney Brown ends up breaking Mukuba’s ankle on the tackle when he probably should have let him score so the offense at least could get the ball back.

Being that Sirianni is paranoid AF about turnovers. That's a headscratcher. And why are we picking up ex-Jets?? And Giants for that matter. That's where we went wrong. Right there! And Joe Douglas...

Sydney Brown: Bad at football, great at getting hurt and hurting his own teammates.

Baby sendejo

The whole playbook sucks. This is Siriannis offense and it’s terrible. Having someone else call plays isn’t going to do much when they are still picking the rancid ingredients given to them.

The rest of this season is to hope the offense doesn’t completely collapse and the injuries to the DBs aren’t too much to overcome. This team is cooked and getting bounced 1st round.

Video of Brown breaking his ankle that was talked about above. Freaking idiot

Just saying, what aj brown has been saying got proven out yesterday. The offense when they found and got him involved had the ball moving and we were scoring at will. Probably the best the offense had looked since the giants game. It allowed for other things to get open. As soon as they stopped involving him as they got up 21-0 and the next 25-27 mins of the game they bogged down and did nothing. the next 4 possessions they had three 3 and outs and 1 first down. Then they finally got aj brown back involved they managed to at least resemble something of a functional offense (until Barkley fumbled, penalties and Hurts sack) and he alone picked up 3 firsts.

I really don’t want to hear Dallas made adjustments to take him away. Frankly the bengals targeted ja’mar chase 23 times in a game vs. Pittsburgh (much better defense than Dallas) this year with Flacco. The steelers defense probably tried to adjust but they kept going there cause they had no answer. I’m not saying he needs 23 targets but just phasing him out for 2 quarters is Fing dumb

It's crazy that they still want him gone

I'm glad

Tbf makuba was having a pretty poor game. Obviously don’t want to see anyone injured and he’s better than brown but he’s not really played that well all season. I know he’s a rookie but he looks under sized and not a great tackler

Another example of coaching malpractice. How the hell was he allowed on this team when they have Covey?

The Eagles have hit their DE&I "Whiteboy" quota?

Also I thought Dejean has his worst game for us. Between him and Jackson they gave up like 200+ yards for 9 catches. Dak absolutely rinsed our seconday as usual. Would have been much more if ceedee could catch

Howie had his worst season in memory of bullet proofing this team. And went with a lot of hopium in just too many spots. Guys who are ill equipped for many snaps on a Superbowl contender. Let me go through my hit list.

B. Young

Robinson

A. Jackson

Ringo

Bennet

Dillon

Gipbson

Toth

Pryor

S. Brown

They force fed us Makuba. I believe. Could have used a red shirt year.

If any of these guys play many snaps we take a nice hit.

Am I missing anyone? LOT OF STIFFS ON THIS LIST.

The road now goes through Los Angeles. I think that they are ready to beat these Eagles. Seems inevitable. Adams and Nacuah will eat Adoree's lunch. Just keeping it real. We have some fatal flaws and don't see how we hide them against close to elite teams. And have to play 4 games to win it all. With this banged up defense and offense spread thin.

We’ve beat every elite team we’ve played this year. Rams aren’t going to win out. We can probably lose one more and still lock the 1 seed

The PI call was a joke I thought he was fine all things considered and the situation he was put in, but the main theme of the Eagles defense struggling vs him is they can never seem to get pressure on him. The Eagles DL never seems to dominate like they do vs other teams when they play them. He usually has all the time in the world to throw.

And lost to 2 not so good teams in Giants & Cowboys in the worst fashion I can think of. Rams have stepped it up while we are going the other way. Feels like fool's gold right now. Will see. There's very little margin for error this year. As opposed to past years. Still a good team, but the red flags are all there.

Also, Lions, Packers, Chiefs, Vikings, Buccaneers are all teams with warts and worse than anticipated. Needed miracle FG block to beat Rams. So it's still good, but I'm not overly impressed as it turns out.
