  • Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Jason Kelce is 100% correct and very little of us are acknowledging it.

The O-line is really struggling and not being able to run the ball is what is hurting the offense the most. Not Patullo, not Sirianni, not Hurts, not AJ. It's the O-line. Not being able to have any resemblance of a run game is killing everything. Just makes them much easier to defend. I find it hard to believe that a back as amazing as Saquon is struggling this much after rushing for 2K just last year. He didn't fall off like that in 1 season. It's the O-line.

If they can figure something out and get the run game going, it will open up everything for the offense. If not then they won't repeat. Simple as that.

They are struggling for sure, but it has nothing to do with calling inside runs against heavy defensive sets and stacked boxes out of condensed formations I’m sure. Nothing to do with that…

Seth Joyner did for AZ 😃

I would also add to this. It has nothing to do with the fact in the first 3 drives of the game the Eagles were moving the ball consistently. They were finding AJ Brown and the offense was highly functional. Then the next 2 quarters of the game he had one target and they had one first down that entire time. I said this in 2023 and 2024 as well, there’s times and prolong stretches where they really don’t maximize their talent to its fullest.

If a inside run play is called but there is heavy defensive sets and stacked boxes, shouldn't maybe the play be changed? Call an audible maybe? Isnt that what is usually done in those situations?

OL and to be specific its just run block as they have held up well in pass blocking has been a major issue - and why they can't run the same offense as years past.

But our inability to adjust and tailor the offense to at least partially cover up for that is what a lot of frustration is aimed at, and I'd say rightly so.

Been calling for more Latu all season.

Also look at Barkley to get out and not get hit. Bigsby just tries to run through that DB to get the TD.

And we'll still struggle moving the ball most drives.

C’mon man I bet we put up 13-16 on them 💪

Since Sirianni and Hurts have been here they've never been an offense that can or will throw it all over the field for the entire game or majority of it. They just aren't like that. They can get the pass game going for some periods of time during the game but eventually it fades out. They need the run game to be successful and its been badly missing this year.

I'd rather Foles as OC. I bet he has interest in doing it.

I didn't mean that our coaches didn't have us prepared. I mean that we weren't prepared by our coaches.

Need the play call(s) to come in in a timely manner for that to be possible. Line up & adjusting protection is priority 1. If there’s 5 seconds left after that, you can’t audible.

Patullo can’t even call a play for the moment, let alone grasp the possibility of multiple options.

I get that and youre right but this isn't the case all the time. They do get to the line with plenty of time to audible but take their time to snap it.

Here’s the problem when something is working and Jalen hurts looked great early like he did on Sunday to start the game, you stick with it. when Dallas cannot defend AJ Brown or Smith you don’t go away from it. You don’t need a run game against a pass defense that has no answers to aj brown and smith

Let me just say this, the Cincinnati Bengals have old ass Joe Flacco and a horrific offensive line. You know what they did against the Pittsburgh Steelers because it worked consistently? They threw it to Chase 23 times. 23 targets to 1 player. They scored 33 points that day and won. The moral of that is when something is working make the defense prove they can adjust and stop it. When they start doing that that’s when you go away from it. There was no reason the eagles needed to go to Fing quarters without getting the ball to a guy that was destroying the dallas defense. this would be the equivalent to the Eagles in 2024 not running with Saquon going off and unstoppable then begin to just get pass happy for next 2 quarters

Coaching needed to adjust months ago to the Oline struggling

Seems like most of the problems were just straight up ignored because we were winning

To be fair he’s saying,

I didn’t mean that our coaches didn’t prepare us. I mean that they didn’t prepare us properly

A vast majority of the time they’re breaking the huddle late. I’ve been saying this since week 2 when the pattern was consistent.

It was a consistent pattern before then. As in, before Patullo was OC.

Seems to me I remember a few times when the ball was supposed to go to aj and hurts threw it over his head.

Aj brown had 10 targets in that game. 1 target in 2nd and 3rd quarter. Had 6 in the 1st quarter. He caught 5 for 67 (one he didn’t was cause he didn’t get his second foot in). In the 4th quarter he had 3 targets. Caught all 3 for 43 yards and 3 1st downs. He had the one bad throw to him in the 3rd quarter. That was his only target in 2nd and 3rd quarter

Believe you are thinking of Devonta he had a couple throws that were off the mark to him. Had 11 targets and 5 incompletions.

That's 100% true. Now, tell me about why the passing game was also schizophrenic last year.
