Not only is that not his quote he didn't even quote it correctly.

It's this.... Life Can Only Be Understood Backwards, But It Must Be Lived Forwards

Actually, no. Kierkegaard wrote in Danish. That line has been variously translated.

Hurts over McNabb all day in my opinion, unless this is strictly a physical talent comparison (in which case I think it’s McNabb).

I trust Hurts to bring his best, and to continue to improve. I never got that vibe with McNabb.

I agree. Hurts plays his best in big games. McNabb not so much. Also, I have it on good authority that worms prefer Hurts.

I think Ertz best was a product of Dougs offense and Wentz not throwing outside the hashes, Ertz was effectively target 2 in the offense, over a five season span that classes as his peak from 2015-2019 Ertz was targetted 619 times, Goedert has never been used to anywhere near that degree.

Ertz played 117 games for the Eagles and had 837 Targets, Goedert has played 100 games and been targeted 515 times, Goedert's catch percentage, yards per reception and yards after catch are all better and he's in a different league to Ertz as a blocker (as was Brent Celek who could also legit be in this conversation).

Ertz is a big bodied receiver who has got better at blocking but still isn't that good, Goedert is a proper TE.

thank you.

celek was the mix of both. old-school grit with enough hands to be a threat.

this has me remembering chad lewis too. will always remember breaking his ankle and still celebrating the td in the nffcg against atlanta.

this feels like if they’re out of contention by their by week that they’re potentially going to IR him

The Commanders are so stupid. Daniels needs to hit the weight room all off-season and come back next year healthy. They were done the minute he got hurt the first time. Their schedule is as brutal as ours

First time I've ever heard her speak. Wow she's dumber than I thought.

Hurts over McNabb the minute he won a SB.

That roster isn't good - they need to tank, tradeback (as they don't have 2nd) and start building. They aren't close.

She sounds like the kind of woman who would start a rumor in high school just to see how far it would go. But, that's also what keeps social media alive. Create half truths knowing that there's a huge group that wants to believe the made up truth. This woman should not have a job.

Philly was SO STRONG in saying WE ARE NOT MOVING HIM, WE LOVE HIM....but AJ Brown was a big name to discuss at the trade deadline.

LeSean McCoy vs. Brian Westbrook

Damn. Shady. Better every down back vs a weapon.

Ertz. This one isn't particularly close for me. Goedert is a good TE, but he's injury prone and at his best just isn't as good.

Ertz has a huge hole in his resume … he was a lousy blocker. As a big slot WR Ertz is definitely better than Goedert, but as full function TE the choice is clearly Goedert in spite of the injuries.

I thought she had inside info somewhere. Checking his social media after he's publicly said he just posts random things is weak

I feel surprisingly confident that we'll beat the Packers. I'm way more worried about the Lions game.

Hurts and Ertz not just because of how they sound together

Last year is actually a good example. He wasn’t bad against GB, but he certainly wasn’t ‘good’. It’s not a knock specifically on him, QB is just a rhythm position.

We watch week after week him starting slow (the O as a whole too).

I personally don’t see the benefit and it’s my if it’s not broke don’t fix it mentality. Right now the team is playing well and firing on all cylinders consistently.

I understand and respect that on-the-field perspective, but Howie’s job is much more than on-the-field. As I said in my prior comments on this, it would be a resource value maximization tactic to give McKee’s resume considerably greater strength when it is being looked at by trading partner GMs.

So will ESPN be back up Monday night?

Not looking promising.

Yeah rushing second overall pick QB's back from a serious injury in their second season has been a winning strategy in the past for the Commanders, they should definitely do this.

I take celek easily over both of them

Reports are they aren't close and it's unlikely. Absolute joke.
