It's funny how in football they do these weird types of stat keeping. Curious if other sports do it too

Good news. I got an email back from VABeach_Eagle, he is ok. He has been tending to his mother's health as she's been in the hospital, and exhausted lately. He says he will be more available to log on

Baseball has weird stat keeping stuff like this too.

Parsons torn ACL

Had a feeling that and possibly soccer

We play on a short week? We have the most wonky schedule with the days between games all season.

This is what they should have been doing coming out of the bye. The Vikings and Giants game heading into the bye was when they started to really use it and then poof it went away until a little bit last week and then today of course.

Any argument in favor of the coaching is negated by how often they use Calcaterra in the run game. It's coaching malpractice every week. Just total lunacy. Doesn't mean the players deserve a pass, they don't, but the coaching has sucked too and I don't care if Hurts has a game where he throws 10 picks. The coaching has still sucked this season.

Frankly if they continue this trend and have success this kind of reminds me of 2019 with Doug. That entire year we kept asking Doug to get Wentz outside of the pocket and do the things that the analytics said they were very good at. And yet we kept misusing personnel and not doing it. then after that Miami game at the start of December, Doug started doing it more and more

Yes .., but I wasn’t predicting 2

Understood When I added TD after Goedert I got "Hurts tush push and Goedert TD, Defense 2 turnovers" Goedert TD was a winner. Hurts tush push TD was not, but there was a Hurts tush push. Did you mean the former or the latter? The Defense prediction was not correct, so you will get recognized as partially correct. The only question will be were you 1/3 right or 2/3s right.

how do you claim the eagles are the only very good team in the nfl meanwhile the rams aren’t? Rams lost to us but have also beaten 10-4 sf, 11-3 Seattle, 10-4 jags, 9-5 Texans and lions. Stafford is having one of the best seasons of his career. We don’t have to say the Rams are great, but we can admit they are a very good team. They’ve consistently shown that all year and had us on the ropes

If Watson and parson are done that kills their chances to win anything. They’ll should still make the playoffs but it’s not a given considering they go at Chicago, vs. Baltimore and at Minnesota.

The Rams have Adams, Puka, Verse, and a few other players.

Landman has been a Baun-lite level surprise. Good for them.

They played a crap schedule. We knew at the beginning of the year that the 49ers and Rams were playing joke schedules.

They are INFERIOR in talent. This is a fact.

You can form a cult of Rams worship if you want.

Their offensive coaches are much better. You can have that one.

Denver also has an inferior roster to Philly, even though they beat Philly (thanks, AJ!) and have a better record.

I agree that the Packers season ended today. Parsons is a game changer. I don't think the Watson injury is serious but Parsons just evolved them.

Play the Rams here, in LA (with 35-45% Eagles fans) wherever, I have zero concerns.

Stafford is a chump who feasts on easy button.

The match up I like the least for the Eagles is Chicago in Chicago. They were incredibly physical and they have a great HC / offensive gameplay guy.

Seattle's D might be tough, but Darnold is easily rattled.

I'd hate to play Denver in Denver but that game would be in Santa Clara.

Rams-Seahawks, Packers-Bears next week

Take care of the Commanders on a weird Saturday evening game and things could start opening up again

Eagles hit rock bottom last week and mostly everyone here wrote them off this year. If you were paying attention the defense is now up to par for being a championship defense with Phillips & Graham additions & Adoree/Epps solidifying the backend in recent weeks. It's made Blankenship not have to carry the full load and just now goes back to doing his job and not worried about a rookie or Sydney Brown beside him. Fangio is indeed the master that he is credited to be.

Now, the offense has been evolving making strides in some areas, while experimenting on the formula to who they are. And now just may be arriving at something here by playoff time. Most importanly playing with confidence and on the same page. But no, let's put Tanner McKee in, as we try defending our world championship. These boys aren't going down easy and with expectations now leveled off, they are even more suited and motivated for this task.... and to prove peeps wrong.

Shame he won't have the starters so the Hurts huggers can say he didn't look good

He has always looked elite and has never played with starters. No different today.

Injuries are also a factor since Mailata and Dickerson are all-pro talents but are playing like borderline pro bowl and average instead this year.

I'm just talking talent in a vacuum, not coaching, scheme, play calling, prep, biorhythms, health, motivation and all that (which does count)

Adding Epps was huge. He is mediocre but that's all you need. Sydney Brown is a horror and should never play a defensive snap.

I figured I would win when I saw the first snap under center, but I sure did see a lot of shotgun...

No idea.🤣
